A well built she-wolf of a beer brewed with naked cereals to slake your thirst and satisfy your carnal instincts. Our seasonal "Alia" is brewed to drive out evil spirits and promote health and fertility.

Cask at the William Webb Ellis (JDW), Twickenham, 16/02/13. Clear golden with a frothy off white head that retains well. Nose carries light malt tones, touch of fruit, diacetyl - not great ! Taste comprises caramel, malt, fruits, grain. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry bitter finish. Very average - no need to re-visit!

Cask (gravity dispense) at Kingston Beer Festival on 13 May 2011. Amber colour. Thin, but lasting, white head. Good condition. Fruity malt aroma. Some savoury vegetal notes (that I sometimes liken to baked beans for want of a clearer description) in the aroma. Pleasantly fruity flavour but seemed rather short of hops. Some light (and unexpected) smoky hints.
