Initial fruity hoppy aroma. Very smooth and silky. Some boiled veg in the background. Ok but not quite balanced.

Gravicask (PBF2015, Friday)
Lightly cloudy orange, small looes head. Super spicey zesty aroma - marmalade and even chilli. Nice soft palate. There’s almost lime pickle in the taste - tons of citrus, but a wonderful peppery heat too. This is an exciting journey, with much complexity, and is so much better than just having extreme shit thrown in your face.

Tap. Sheffield Tap. Murky amber. Film of grey head. Woody, earthy hop. Some citric rind. The tea comes through as floral and tannic. Taste is zesty bitter, and earthy dry. Palate is more of the tannin, in tooth furring mode. Finishes dry, and light bitter. I got the lemongrass thing at the end, but only after I’d read the commercial description! Ok.

Cask from ’Grunting Growler’ Glasgow pop-up bar. Pours a cloudy amber with a lasting thin creamy head. Aroma, floral, citrus, earthy. Taste, clean citrus fruity malty, dry tannin bitter finish. Nice interesting ale to enjoy.

Cask as unfined at the Stockbridge Tap. Hazy amber with white head. Zesty lemon aroma, some orange. The tea comes through more in the flavour with some lemon. Dry and refreshing
