Appearance: Pours a clear, light yellow body with a thin, wispy, white head. Smell: Oh, what a cereal nose, accompanied by light floral hints and a faint note of grain. Taste: Light pale maltiness with a distinctly cereal sweetness. Floral, spicy hops, lightly bitter. Drying, crisp finish. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Reasonably refreshing -- I suppose that’s the politest thing one can say of this beverage.

Ha. One of those beers you wish you wouldn’t have drank. Off flavors abound with grain and corn and sourness. Glad I don’t live in Peru.

Pours a clear pale with a small almost non existent head. Smells of corn and malt. First sip tastes of malt and corn with a mild hop presence. Very light bodied and typical of beers from Latin America. Not too bad when I compare it to all the others I have had from Lima.

Verre d’une bouteille de 1.1 L à Phinaya. Arômes discrets de mais et de houblon floral. Robe paille, effervescence à grosses bulles. Assez sèche en bouche, un léger malt est accompagné d’une touche de houblon floral.

Bottle, thanks to daknole! Pours clear straw with a slightly lacy head. Aroma of cat, cabbage and corn. The taste is everything the nose would lead you to suspect. Light body and medium carbonation.

12-oz bottle. Thanks, Bitbucket! Thin fizzy pale straw under a quickly fading white fizzy head. Skunky, slightly dank, mildewy nose. Fizzy, rather sharp and watery body. Thick, unpleasant notes of skunkage on the mid-palate. Neutral finish.

A friend brought this back for me on a recent trip to Peru. Pours bright golden, little white head. aroma is of grain, wheat and pears. Sort of citrusy and a little salty. your typical foreign pale lager. Thanks Alyssa!! :)

Had in Peru on vacation. Medium yellow color with little white head and no lacing. Light flavor and aroma and very easy to drink.

Bottle courtesy of Dakine. First up on my Central America Beer Tour – we head to Peru. Pours a really light clear gold with 2 finger white head and decent lacing. Nose is grain, sweet malt and a touch of skunk. Taste is sweet malt and a bit of hops – no skunk in the flavor. Very light mouth feel and really clean finish – almost no aftertaste. Refreshing beer. For what it is, it’s not bad – especially when it’s 102 degrees right now.
