Not to light, not too dark. Love the flavor. Don't drink it that much, which is why I wont get sick of it. Being the first rating i've made here, i'm not sure what else to say. if you haven't tried it...try it

I had one of these at an open air restaurant in a Peruvian border town. It was a 20 oz bomber served very cold in a chilled glass. It was a great complement to the food. For a South American beer it was quite good.

I found this beer surprisingly good... I was expecting just another Latin American weak lager, but Pils Callao had decent body, a pleasing raste, and a sweet finish. Heck, I like it!

12oz bottle. Gift from Maddie (I work with). Crisp golden color. Big fizzy white head. Sweet malt aroma. Very pleasant malt helles flavor. Would drink this one again, definitely!

A crystal clear gold color with a bright white frothy head that is massive in size, the lace is a white curtain draped upon the glass. Nose is crisp and clean as a lager should be, pleasant as noses go, start is quite sweet, nice malt profile, and the top light to middling in its feel to the palate. Finish has a biting acidity, the hops present and mellow in their spiciness, very dry aftertaste. In all fairness, one of the better lagers I’ve tasted in a while, quite a little thirst quencher and would be a great “lawnmower beer”.

Bottle... Clear, light yellow lager with a mid-sized, pillowy, white head and good retention. Smells like a very light mead... vinous and honey-laden with a hint of menthol. The flavor is sweet with some nice pilsner malt and pale grain/malt character. Leans just a touch on the sweet side of balance, but pleasantly so. Lightly bitter. Light to medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Actually, a pleasant, refreshing surprise!

Very little carbonation (no head), blond/clear color, very clean tasting, dry aftertaste. Not a bad beer!

Very decent South American beer. Very refreshing on a hot spring night. Bit of a sweet aroma - light golden appearance. Head is thin and white and quickly dissipating - not much lacing. Flavor has a bit of a biscuity flavor to it with an underlying sweetness. I see that it is considered a Helles - that explains it - too much body for a pilsener. All in all, a refreshing beer and beats most South American beers hands down.
