Bottle: Stale water with some colorant. This is an awful beverage, my suggestion: order a nice locally grown and brewed coffee instead. Heineken should be embarrassed.

Sampled in a 1 liter bottle while journaling my Costa Rican exploits in the shadow of the towering Vulcan Arenal in la Fortuna, Costa Rica. Mild lager with somewhat of a malt kick. Otherwise its carbonated, gold, non-descript beer available at your local pub anwhere on the planet.

i ordered this one last week in costa rica...didnt even know there were any other beers then imperial....i saw a lady across the bar order it and it was almost frozen....sold me. this one is bit more corn sweet flavors then the counterparts. i think the abv above is wrong as well, seems like i read it had slightly over 5% unless they make more then one. amazing heineken is even making swill in costa rica...minus the green bottles.

Not bad, golden color with a sourness to it. Light body. I like it better than Imperial.

Bottle in Costa Rica. Pale, fizzy, bitter beer, I’m guessing made of rice and, to me, similar to Bud, just with better head.

(can) Crystal clear pale straw body with fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet, metallic, light bready. Taste is sweet, bready, light metallic, minimal bitterness. Light body.

Bottle from a March 2004 trip to Costa Rica. One shade of yellow short of clear. An almost painful flavor with minimal yeast aroma. Cardboard, dry, and not refreshing.

A pretty bland, watery lager with a slightly bitter finish. Not very good at all. If you’re in Costa Rica, I’d stick with the Imperial.
