Golden color, small white head. Grainy, papery, sweet malty nose. Quite watery, mostly grainy industrial flavor. Typical cheap lager and propably the worst of three Costa Rican main brands. Bov (5403), Bienne, Switzerland Jan 18, 2009 canned 5,1%; courtesy of DomTom - clear and bright golden colour with a fast collapsing foam, aroma of corn, plastic and oily hops; medium-bodied, dry and quite harsh; rather long corny finish - cheap and bad stuff MartinT (5030), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Aug 3, 2002 The dying body of a beer…Hop-amputated with canceriginous malt… JoeMcPhee (4911), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Dec 21, 2006 350 ml can courtesy of my sister. Very pale straw colour. Aroma is slightly corny with a touch of cidery character as well. Flavour is fairly clean however, with pale malt and light grassiness. No DMS or other flaws. I can see this working at 35 degrees, but it’s hovering around 0 right now, and the closest beach is the East River. larsniclas (3383), Gothenburg, Sweden Jan 25, 2004 Bottled.
Golden with a frothy head.
A bit sour, pungent aroma with some maltiness.
Rather flat and sweet with notes of malt. rickgordon (3285), Göteborg, Sweden Jan 23, 2004 Bottled.
