From a 12 pz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear pale gold with an off white head. Biscuit aroma. Crisp and inoffensive flavor.

Pilsener 100 (Centenario) of El Salvador has a rather thin, white head and a clear, bubbly, straw appearance, with little white specks floating about and minimal lacing left behind. The aroma is of pungent, sweet, sugary barley malt and clean water. Taste is of sweet barley malt, a touch of hops in the background, slight sourness, and biscuit. Mouthfeel is mostly light and a bit slick, and Pilsener 100 finishes crisp, clean, semi-dry, refreshing, and exceptionally drinkable. Overall, this is a most excellent beer, and I recommend trying this rarity. RJT

Braudog (5035) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Bottle. Piss yellow, an initial fizz that adds up to nothing. Bit of a corny aroma without much behind it. Drinks with barley any body ... corny malt, and a slight funk. About what you’d expect ... lower end macro. (#4961, 3/20/2013)

Not distinctive but high quality brewing technic created total smoothness. Surprised from El Salvador.Ingridients must be fresh, too.

12 oz bottle at Gloria’s in Addison, Texas. It was a Salvadoran restaurant, so figured I would order this. The pour is a yellow golden, slightly darker than an average macro, along with a smallish white head. The aroma is pretty faint, what is there is some generic, mildly sweet malt. The taste is pretty bland, straight forward light cereal sweet malt, and a watery finish. The palate is light bodied, high carbonation rate, and the watery finish. Not really any noticeable off flavors, just sort of blah. As an aside, the food was great at this place.

kerenmk (1214) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 31, 2013
Bottle shared at a tasting at our place. Pours pale, clear golden with white ring. Brett, sweet stink, like sewage. Faintly sweet and watery. Light carbonation, light body, a little sticky and sweet finish.

Beerenberger (800) - Fischer, Texas, USA - JAN 30, 2013
Aroma of grain, some malt, and a bit of a skunky fragrance. Pours a clear straw yellow with a nice mostly diminishing white head and minor lacing. The taste is grain forward with a hint of malt sweetness in the finish. Medium body with active carbonation. Crisp mouthfeel. Overall, while not a stellar beer, it is drinkable and will go well with many dishes. A good session beer for hot Texas summers.

DSG (3929) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 20, 2013
Bottle shared at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Clear pale golden. Aroma of skunk, rotten eggs and a bit of DMS. Sweetish flavor with cardboard, a bit of sugar and an almost non-existent finish. Watery.
