1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle@Home. Grainy and light skunky aroma. Pale yellow color, white irregular head, no lace. Grassy, light herbal, light bitter, light malty, hints of veggies, thin. Ok, it’s refreshing.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Light yellow colored, little white head. Lemony aroma with some unconvenient cardboard. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is even more cardboardy with this lemon still. Boring and unclean beer.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Canned (brewed under license in Colombia). Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is standard tropical pils, saltwater, maize and paper. Flavour is pretty much the same.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can, Ecuadorian beer brewed in Colombia
Pale yellow color, small white head. Fruity, citrusy estery aroma with notes of wet paper. Harsh, lemony flavor, light palate. Acidic, lemony and lousy tropical lager.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
For what this is -- a light beer, it’s totally drinkable. Enjoyed straight from the bottle -- and it’s colder than the weather right now, so bonus points for that. Taste does have a nice crispness until the bottle actually overwhelms the aftertaste leaving a bit of rusty pipe on the tongue.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: APR 21, 2007 in can 330 ml.,
Yellow color, very pale. It has a small cord, whitish. Later it is something cloudy. It is something bitter, with a fund of masses, land. The body is thin. It is what I call a “flat beer”. It is a bit more than a beer water.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Can, 330 ml Pours a clear, pale yellow color. Medium white airy head, fast diminishing that leaves an ugly lacing.
Aroma is full of adjuncts, corn, metal and vegetables. Some alcoholic notes too but overall a typical cheap south american macro pale lager.
Flavor is watery with tiny hints of hops and a trace of malt. Notes of corn, asparagus, artichokes and high sweetness in the end. Really nasty.
Watery texture, light bodied. High carbonation, flavorless finish. Metallic aftertaste. Eww!

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Much like other things in Ecuador, Pilsner´s inability to be predictabe or consistent makes it difficult to rate this beer. The beer varies from bottle to bottle to can. However, if you want to use fancy words to describe it: it has a very pale pour. If you get the right can or bottle it will have a head, but it is fairly limited. It tends to have a watered down taste with a light aroma. But lets be honest... they are $0.60 for 500 ml.

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Extremly pale pour, with almost no head. Aroma is very light, with a sweet papery malt hint and some corn as well. Extremely thin, with damp cardboard notes and some sweet corn upfront. There’s no bitterness in the finish.
