2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear gold with a tiny white head. The aroma is very mild malt. The flavor is a little sweet a first, then finishes crisp and pretty balanced. Not bad.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The most popular beer in El Salvador, 4.4%. It can be found everywhere in the country. It has a low alcoholic aroma and a thin bread smell. Itís easy to drink, very smooth, tasty and refreshing. Also, it has a light body with a clear blond color. A perfect beer for hot days and we have a lot of them all year.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
This beer is perfect for when you want a good lager beer when hanging out with friends and/or at a party or a restaurant/pub. Itís taste, in my book, is easy to make out: wheat and alcohol. The aroma is alcohol-ish. The foam is rich, yet not thick for the draft version. Also, the draft versionís flavor is much easier to make out (for obvious reasons). I think El Salvador should be proud of this beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pilsener has a thick, white head, a very clear, bubbly (etched glass), straw appearance, with minimal lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet grain and a touch of sourness. Taste is of sugary sweetness, grain, a kiss of hops, and clean water. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Pilsener finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and tasty. Overall, this is another good one, and I rate it excellent. RJT

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear Yellow with small fizzy white head that dissolves quickly. Hardly no aroma to speak of. Very little visual caronation. Bland taste of corn and hay. This beer would probably taste better in the heat and humidity of Central America.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle - labeled as Centenario Pilsener 100 - call it what you want. Itís still skunky to the nose with a grainy metallic taste. Pours gold with a small head.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
12 oz, relabeled as "Centenario Pilsener 100" for the stupid US consumer such as myself. Clear topaz with a lasting quarter inch of meringue on top. Aroma is scorched rubber, light grain and dry grass. Flavor is similar, but with more caramelized grain, apple and dry grass, Light-medium body is a little too fizzy, a touch to the sweet side, but has a dry finish to keep a balance.
