Clear gold with a tiny white head. The aroma is very mild malt. The flavor is a little sweet a first, then finishes crisp and pretty balanced. Not bad.

12oz bottles in El Salvador. Pours a pale, clear yellow with a avg white head. Aroma is grain and some sweet malt. Flavor is grain, corn, light, sweet malt, and grassy notes. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Typical pale lager, nice during the hot weather.

No retention and no lacing. Smells of grain, bread and corn. Tastes of sweet cereal, grains and bread. No aftertaste. Crisp finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Received in trade from RobertDale, thanks for the opportunity! Pours a crystal clear medium golden color with a decent sized bone white head that persists for a bit. Aromas of bread, straw and a hint of floral spice. The flavor is lightly sweet bready maltiness with just enough spice and green apple to keep it from being cloying. Medium to light body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a slick almost watery mouthfeel. Serviceable pale lager that didn’t suck as bad as I thought it would. I could drink this if I had to.

Bottle from Northgate: Pours pale gold fizzy head. Nose is typical adjuncts such as corn smelling cheap. Taste is plain with rice and corn cheap short cut tasting beer.

Bottle and draft: Poured a golden color lager with a medium size white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light adjunct notes with light sweet notes also noticeable. Taste is also dominated by light adjunct notes with light sweet notes. Body is light with medium carbonation. Not as gross as expected but nothing to write home about either.

From bottle. Technically called "Centenario Pilsener 100". Pours a clear golden yellow hue with a lasting quarter inch of meringue on top. Aroma is scorched rubber, light grain and dry grass. Flavor is similar, but with more caramelized grain, apple and dry grass, Light-medium body is a little too fizzy, a touch to the sweet side, but has a dry finish to keep a balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Valfar (73) - San Miguel, EL SALVADOR - OCT 24, 2013
The most popular beer in El Salvador, 4.4%. It can be found everywhere in the country. It has a low alcoholic aroma and a thin bread smell. It’s easy to drink, very smooth, tasty and refreshing. Also, it has a light body with a clear blond color. A perfect beer for hot days and we have a lot of them all year.

This beer is perfect for when you want a good lager beer when hanging out with friends and/or at a party or a restaurant/pub. It’s taste, in my book, is easy to make out: wheat and alcohol. The aroma is alcohol-ish. The foam is rich, yet not thick for the draft version. Also, the draft version’s flavor is much easier to make out (for obvious reasons). I think El Salvador should be proud of this beer.
