3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
*Bottle from Hemköp in Stockholm. Not bad at all. Thin body with hints of grain, but the malty Pils is there. Subtle bitterness in the aftertaste, refreshing with hints of grain and a nice subtle sweetness. Refreshing and nice!

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours clear golden with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Aroma is not strong, but has tempting yeasty and malty tones. Flavor isn’t much - malty and a little fruity, a touch of yeast, rather wan. Texture presents thin body and not much fizz. Still, worth at least a fair shake.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
50cl bottle from Hemköp Tandĺdalen, Sälen. Pours clear golden with a minimal, white head. Mild grainy aroma with grassy and slightly herbal notes, hints of fruits and cooked vegetables. Moderate sweet with milder flavours than the original, but not as weak as feared, the same goes for the bitterness. Far from the worst "folköl" I’ve tried, but still a shadow of the original. Still fairly drinkable.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: APR 6, 2015 The hoppy character stands out very nicely, with a long bitter finish (still have it, after some minutes) and a few malty notes, perhaps. A pilsner which, thanks to its complexity and depth, can easily survive a comparison with other more robust and less industrial options.
