Botella. Served in a Pilsner Urquell footed pils glass: Clear golden with a big white head, rather short lasting, hardly any lacing. Skunky hoppy bit sweet grassy aroma, reminding me of my Heinekens days in the US in the early 90’s. Ok mouthfeel. Grassy soft hoppy flavour, bit skunky, mild maltiness, metallic towards the end. Soft short lasting bitterness. Pretty allright for a macro 3.5’er.

Pale golden with a small white head. Sweet yoghurty grainy malty nose. Nice and Czech in a way. Weak socky dusty taste, light hop bite. Ok, I can understand maltiness being lower because of the lower alcohol percentage, but hop? Why? Ok, it’s still better than the average 3.5% Czech beer from Swedish market (out of 2 examples).

500 ml bottle. From Norrköping, Sweden.
Clear golden colour with small white head. Grassy skunky hoppy aroma (like in proper Pilsner Urquell) with some malty hay-y notes. Flavour is watered down. It’s mild skunky grassy hoppy with mild maltiness. Watery. Aroma is rather near the original, unfortunately flavour isn’t.

marcot (771) - Campomorone, ITALY - AUG 18, 2010

Pours golden with a white head. Tastes sweet malty, with a fruity end. A decent pilsner.

yngwie (14146) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 12, 2010
Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body under a small, diminishing white head. Grainy, slightly bready nose with fruityness. Nice hops in the flavor, but there’s too much grainy, bready maltyness. Well carbonated, quite thin mouthfeel. There’s a pleasant bitterness and some fruits in the finish. For a low-strenght edition of a beer, it’s a quite nice one, and it actually tastes better as you drink it. 100101
