3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at Black Door, Helsinki. Cloudy golden yellow with a thick creamy head. Grassy, buttery aroma with grain and malt. Very malty flavour with butter and butterscotch, grassy and bitter hops and some grain. Bitter, dry, hoppy finish. Probably the best pilsener I’ve ever tasted.

Super grainy aroma. Lovely hazy pale orange. Such raw fresh grains, it’s magical on the nose. I could swim in this. Alas it’s a bit duller in the mouth - lightly bready grains. Finish is pleasantly hopped, just a little bit of dry crisp spiciness. Super drinkable. Smooth palate, like a good hazy unfiltered lager should be. Well, this is a good beer to help you shed your prejudices - who cares if this is SABMiller, this is a beautiful lager.

Little tun @Olutexpo 2015. Clear golden color. Huge size, thick white head, stays. Not much of aroma. Tiny bit of yeast and wheat. Nice malty body with moderately spicy hops. Nice hoppy bitterness. Everything is in balance. Very drinkable.

Tap. Slightly hazy golden with an average white head. Aroma of grassy hops, hay, grain and caramel notes. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and nice bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and average carbonation. A very nice Pils indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Hmmm what is there to say about this that have not been said before. Probably nothing. If you stumble upon this rating, you might believe it is an “happy” rating. I rarely give any pilsner any higher rating than 3. But this pilsner make you realize how pilsner really should be. Not all the crap you usually get. Looks lovely with its hazed golden color and two finger thick white head. Solid lacing down the glass. Both aroma and flavor are dominated by a lovely mellow and smooth malt aroma. Lovely fresh bitterness. Medium body and a pleasant creamy soft carbonation. One more please!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at W.o.R’s. Poured a deep gold under an average white head. Aroma is earthy, straw, hay, honey, grass and a light hint of green grapes. Flavor is the same. Medium to fuller bidy that is almost chewy with average carbonation and a lingering aftertaste.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap @ Highlanders Aarhus. Pours like pilsner. Golden with a white head. Aroma of pilsner malts, grassy hops, bread and some weak nutty and honey notes as well. The taste has some bread, some classic saaz hops, pilsner malt and some weak sweeter malts as well. Refreshing but yeah - a good pilsner.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Na Parkanu and in various other pivnice round and in Plzen.
Quite different from the bottled version, more floral and somewhat yeasty.
It seems not to be the same beer. Big white head, hazy pale in color.
Not so good as I expected but still a great beer.
