The aroma is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and citrusy notes of hops as well as hints of wood. 4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught at the brewery (from oak) Cloudy golden, small creamy head. Evident grassy saaz hop aroma. Dry and clean. I seem to sense a bit of oakiness in the crisp malt character. Light-medium bodied. Feels alive and fresh and finishes with lingering bitter finish. One of the top beers of the style!
The unfiltered one at Na Parkanu is understandably similar. If something it felt a bit more grainy, and I couldn’t detect the very vague oakiness I thought I sensed at the brewery tour.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Small wood cask at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Gustav Adolf Torg
The last lucky glass of the wooden cask. Cloudy blond color with no real head, just a small foam collar. Very nice aroma, dry grass, malt, light rubber, light feet. Expectedly, it’s kinda low carbonated, good malt flavor, breadish character, grassy hops with a hay accent, fairly bitter. Penalized a bit by the lack of carbonation and Engish-cask temperature.
Excellent beer (but if you ask me, I prefer some German Hallertau Helles).

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2013 Gravity cask at the Prince Regent - Marylebone, London. Pours lightly hazy gold with a very large, tight white froth. The aroma has bright and bready pale malts, crispy cereal, hay. Light to medium sweet flavor with a very intense breadiness, some dry hay, rich cereal. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Quick and somewhat dry to finish with plenty more semi-dry bread, some dough, cereal grains, mild hay bittterness. Exceptional. (4.2)
Had it again, the next day, at the Haggerston. Even better. A little less bready, a little crisper, a little less toasted corn. Delicious and even more refreshing. (4.3)
