The hand of Pilsners is a wonderful beer.
Strong golden color with a white and effervescent foam good training.
The aroma reveals a strong herbal trend with lemongrass notes, cereals, cereal malt, honey, spicy hops, and why not some cookie nuances that bring a certain sweetness.
The taste is peculiar of this classic beer with apparent grains, cereals, honey, lemon grass, corn bread and spices logically all very well hopped a delicious bitterness. The malts are rather complex and merge in an interesting mixture with hop bitterness. A gem.
In a medium body and good carbonation in effervescent granules, dry finish say that brings a creamy texture and crisp closing a thin bitter that always, always ask another sip. Saaz hops blessed !!!
For me the best of all Lager. Incomparable.

A Czech classic.
When it´s tapped in a good pub, it´s still a really good beer. But a lot of Czech pubs tappes it with much less care then it deserves:-(
Hoppy aroma, nice carbonation and a good drinkability.
Due to lower alcohol content, one can survive even ten pieces without a significant hangover:-)

Keg at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of grain, cereal malt, honey and grassy, spicy hops. Taste is similar. Grain, cereal, honey, grass and spice plus some bread and maize included. Medium bodied and a fizzy carbonation. A dry, grainy finish. A great pilsner as expected, the best lager I’ve had, nothing more though.

Ottima pils

A nice solid pils. Pale gold pour. Herbal, floral notes, and a nice long bitter finish. Especially drinkable. Grab a classic if you have to get something from the big boys.

12 oz bottle, around $3 for single, poured into 16 oz tulip glass
Aroma: Very nice picy, flora Saaz hop bouquet, some sweet maltiness, very clean yet intriguing
Appearance: Somewhere between gold and amber, maybe "deep burnish gold", a touch darker than I imagined.
Taste: Medium sweet and light bitter
Palate: medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, crisp, lingering bitter finish
Overall: I discovered Bohemian Pilsners after I discovered my preference for Saaz hops. Once I realized there’s an entire style dedicated to making lagers with Saaz hops, I started looking to find, taste, and homebrew a few. A very nice Bohemian Pilsener. A tad sweeter and maltier than I expected, but well balanced with the spicy and flora flavor of the Saaz hops. Very well balanced with malt and hops. The fuller body is also nice, I initially expected something more light bodied. The malts are somewhat complex and blends interestingly with the hop bitterness.
