3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask from Brownswood Tavern N5. Pours dark brown, slight golden tinge with off white head. Aroma - malt, caramel/toffee note from honey. Taste - malt, caramel - slightly oaky / barrel note. Nice enough - not sure I’d drink many though. Maybe nicer on a warm winter night than a summer (almost) evening

Aroma of raisins and sweet honey. Taste is packed full of honey flavour and almost spiced rum hints. Only for those who like a sweet beer...

Nice tasting and smooth. Honey isn't too overwhelming which is good. Could be in a better sized bottle

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
See: Mahogany brown with 1/2 finger slightly off-white head.
Smell: Earthy malt, hints of dark fruits and rich honey.
Taste: Quite subtle. Lovely sweet, warm honey flavour is the most obvious flavour. Slight tangy bitterness rolls in toward the end of the mouth and is then replaced again by the honey.
Palate: Feels rich and slightly viscous in the mouth. Short finish. Sweet but also mellow.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask conditioned handpump Sidewinder Brighton 20/05/13. A hazy brown beer with an off-white head and lace. Way too sweet and honeyed for me even given what appears to be a high hop level. There’s a rum and raisin thing going on too and a oaky whisky thing. Too much going on to be pleasant for me.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned at The Littleton Arms, Penkridge, Shrops. Brown with tan head. Really quite a sweetish beer, full and quite sticky on the palate, rich, just slightly cloyng but at the same time with hints of sweet roast malt. Reasonable.
