Cask conditioned handpump Sidewinder Brighton 20/05/13. A hazy brown beer with an off-white head and lace. Way too sweet and honeyed for me even given what appears to be a high hop level. There’s a rum and raisin thing going on too and a oaky whisky thing. Too much going on to be pleasant for me.

Cask conditioned at The Littleton Arms, Penkridge, Shrops. Brown with tan head. Really quite a sweetish beer, full and quite sticky on the palate, rich, just slightly cloyng but at the same time with hints of sweet roast malt. Reasonable.

Clear brown colour with a small frothy head. Thin body, light in character. Some light honey notes in the aroma. Little taste.

Cask at the Southampton Arms on 26th December 2012. Brownish copper with thinning white head and scant lacing. Fruity aroma with leafy herbiness. Sweet fruitiness and honey in-mouth alongside leafy hoppiness; citric finish. Texture of moderate carbonation.

Pigs Ear. The Long Good Friday teamed up with ChrisO. Clear brown beer. Suddy pale tan head. Light palate - pretty dry. Medium malt - very dry. Very appley. Very dry finish. Way too green and dry.
