3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rated on 02-22-2013 at Pinglehead Brewery for RBWG. The appearance of this draft beer is a medium sized beige head that is mostly lasting, reddish brown body, fast rising carbonation, and a good amount of lacing adorns my glass. This beer’s aroma is yeasty, spicy, fruity, and malt. The flavor is yeast, spicy, sugar, malt, fruity, and semi-sweet. The mouthfeel is smooth with a warming sensation. This beer is medium bodied. A very quaffable beer with a good flavor. This beer is one that I would drink again.

4/1/13. On tap at the brewery. Rich amber pour with a big khaki head. Sweet malts and caramel in the aroma, lots of caramel and a ton of sweetness. Sweetness comes through in the flavor as well with plenty of caramel and malt. A touch sweet for me.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear copper on tap with bubbly tan head and moderate lacing on the way down. Aroma of belgian yeast, caramel and 2-row malts, and slight fruity esters on the raisin plum side. Taste is dark fruity esters up front with a sweet malty finish. Decent, abv is well hidden, but a little out of balance on the sweet side.
