Well, it’s drinkable, very drinkable. It’s kind of Breezer beer. Not special at all, not even supposed to be called beer.

Heh heh. Didn’t think this was too bad. Not much to do with beer, but nevertheless... Very sweet, syrupy, and artificial as hell, with quite a lot of citrus. More interesting than good but I’ve had worse.

Nose is sugary sweet, cloudy yellow, pours a small white head. Sweet fruity taste, cloying, surypy, whew!

UPDATED: APR 24, 2009 I was unfortunate enough to not save my gal friend from ordering one of these on tap at the sharpedge instead of any number of fruit beers they had available. It just wasn’t good. Too fizzy and the grapefruit clashed with much of the rest of beers redeeming characteristics...which were few. Ended up tasting like artificial sweetener.

wow, i didn’t care for this much. i had a dream that the grapefruit flavor would be from lots of hops, but... no. yes, this is a fruit beer, and it’s not that good: perfume, grapefruit, sugary sweetness, chemical/inedible substance--primarily; i did think it was smooth albeit weird.

Ugly bottle; hazy pale blond color with pink shades; big creamy head. Crazy aroma, pink grapefruit, Vitamin C Aspirin (?), magnesia. Ordinary beer, some light sweetness, artificial fruitness, quite bad final. Drinkable, soft drink.

Pale hazy golden yellow, small fluffy white head. Yeasty with some citrus, some yeasty funky wierdness the same as was in the Titje, which is presumably the base or at least the same yeast used in this. Surprisingly sweet fruit, muted grapefruit, the overall impression is of a grapefruit soda pop. Thinnish palate with a saccharine quality to it.

Very sweet, citrusy, floral aroma suggests lemon scented furniture polish. Slightly hazy golden body is topped by a decent cover of white head that lasts well. Floral, fruity, citrus flavour with some wheat or biscuit character that is overwhelmed by the overall sweetness. Very much like an alcopop with slight tartness in the finish. Medium light body with lively carbonation and smooth texture. Lager glass. Fridge temperature. Bottle (Bièropholie, Sep-05).

Bottle shared with Jerc at Volo. Hazy yellow, small white head. Really floral and perfume aroma - for some stupid reason, I really liked it. Taste is very fruity, with lots more floral and perfume notes. Sure this is artificial as hell, but I actually didn’t mind the taste either. If anything, it was a little harsh and too sweet but as gimmicky fruit beers go, it was quite quaffable. I don’t really like grapefruit either, and this was not the grapefruit monster I was lead to believe it was. Interesting and exceeded low expectations.
