I was offered this beer in a Belgian style pub in Prague. The bartender warned me that it smells as kind of a washing-up liquid but tastes great. I tried it and agreed. There is grapefruit juice in it. The color corresponds to it. It smells strange, partly like grapefruit or another citrus fruit partly as the bartender described. The taste is light, very refreshing. A slightly sweet wheat beer. I liked it.

Delicius Beer - serve chilled. It’s a grapefruit beer, and taste like a mix of lemonade and beer. Sweet

Bottled. Hazy orange/pinkish colour, not much head. Aroma of grapefruit. Bitter grapefruit/lemonish flavour with sweet ending. Refreshing, and beats the breezers, smirnoff ice etc off the table any day. Perfect "teeny"-drink .)

Tap at Lucky Baldwin’s. Hilarious beer. Nose is good or terrible depending on your approach: is it a strong Sprite-like flavor with upped citrus concentrate, or household cleaner? Flavor is easier to decide: tastes of the whole grapefruit, peel, pith, juice and all. Quite something. Would have liked more tartness.

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2007 Had this one on draft at Sharp Edge Beer Emporium in Pittsburgh. The beer poured a strange salmon color with only a trace of a white head. The aroma is sweet citrus and grapefruit. Smelled just like grapefruit juice. The flavor was light and grapefruity. Strangely it started sweet and then finished dry. My wife noted that it tasted "pink" but that was not a bad thing.

Drought from Delirium Café in Brussels. Funny hazy orange color with a small white head. Nose : Defenetly a grapefruit all the way. Some little yeast. Sip : Nice carbonation, body feels like a white beer. Sweet covered with a grapefruit and balanced sourness of yeast. Muscular white beer with a prenounced slightly sugary grapefruit. Beeing it poured from drought I must say it’s not a bad brew. Enjoyable.

horecabeurs ghent 2012 looks orange-ish , white big steady foam. smells very weird. fruyity, hops, .. taste.. limonade combined with barbeque, anis, toothpaste and fruits. WEIRD !! i wouldn’t call this beer, i wouldn’t call this a good taste, i would call it WEIRD ( and prob the most intresting thing i had in a long time)

Bottle poured a clear pinkish amber with a small creamy lasting off white head. Aromas of candied grapefruit, orange and light cookie. Palate was lighht to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of pink grapefruit, orange zest and light spice with a smooth lingering citrus finish.

Before I begin: This is NOT a beer. It is a flavored malt beverage in a beer bottle. That said, its hits the mark as a quenching summery malt beverage. Pours a pinkish amber with a fleeting soda-like head. Smells like pink grapefruit and cherry 7-UP. Refreshing, tart and very soda-like. Finishes with a strawberry juicy finish.

MIBF ’05 Golden in color with a pinkish hue and a small white head. Aroma is fruity,peaches,cherries,raspberries. Flavor is tart, apricots,strawberries and ruby red grapefruit juice.
