2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
500 ml bottle bought at Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty during the store’s Oktoberfest promotion.
Cloudy, hazy pale golden straw colour with dirt- like yeast sediments; Two-finger head and soapy white foam which last for 2 minutes; Small sticky lacing and fizzy carbonation; Quite decent tangy aroma, with malt, light honey, earth, bread dough, lemon and thin grass; Light sweet taste of light lager malt, with light bread, earth, light spice, pepper, strong lemon and thin grass; Light body, watery palate; Taste profile is tangy, thin body lager base close to a Pale, driven by fairly tangy, earthy and lemony hops complemented by fair amount of dough, pepper, and yeast. Okay... Hoppiness is strong lemon and thin grass in nose and taste, strong earth and pepper flavor, and very muted bitterness. Lemon astringency finish; Wet after taste; Very easy and lemony to mouth.
Comments: This one has similar colour to same brand’s Münstersch Alt, so I wonder if their organic beers all end up look and taste the same?... Anyhow, this one is a little thin in body and mouthfeel, but being saved by its earthy, spicy and lemony hop characters. A bit unspectacular for the style, but still drinkable.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours slightly hazy pale straw with airy white head. Weird aroma of strange malt, possibly veggies and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweet, grainy and estery notes and some metallic notes. Rough aftertaste. Drinkable but just that.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
33cl bb 04/2015, Stuttgarter Bioladen am Marienplatz. Pours watery, virtually odourless apart from some natural grains. Gentle malt blossom and floral hops combine to form delicate, apparantly Bio, but all too shy aromatics on a watery palate - even for a lager.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours pale yellow with a hint of haze and a fluffy white cap that falls to a skim. The smell is bread, yeast, light sweet malt and a touch of citrus. The taste follows the nose with a slightly dry ending. Light in body with finely structured yet slightly prickly carbonation.

Pale golden coour, hazy body with a good visible avtivity in it. Two fingers of white, froathy head, collapsing fast and leavibg a very thin layer of foam on the beer’s surface and light lacing around the glass.
Aroma of yeast and light citrus.
Taste of malts, yeast, citrus, a copy of the aroma mainly.

I won’t devote much time on it, but it’s okay all in all.
