Allerfeinste Hopfenaromen in perfekter, leicht mineralischer Einbettung. Trotz beträchtlicher Bittere enorm süffig. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

50cl non swing top bottle pours with a clear gold body that supports a full nearly fluffy bright white head of foam. The aroma offers up pleasing Pils notes of soft lime mixed with thin tart lemon and spicy hops that I’m finding inviting right now. Beneath those notes is a bit of floral hops and grainy malts. The taste starts sharp and bitter with an almost acidic facet to it. The sharp points glide into lemon to lime citrus hop notes and a pleasing spicy hoppiness. Behind those flavors are floral hops and a modest maltiness that feels doughy from time to time. I think this is a tasty hop forward Pils. I’ll do this again.

Bottle, 5.3%. Spicy and floral aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Nice stable chalk white head. The flavour starts off bready and is quite bitter. Nicely dusty and hop aromatic finish. Also quite dry finish. Well-balanced in spite of the high bitterness.

33cl bb01/15, from Edeka HH. Grassiness, cushioned citrics, a northern herb garden, a whiff of almond malts and hayish grain husks in aroma translate 1:1 in taste on an easygoing palate; watery mid slump. Confidently bitter, never too sweet, well-balanced and delicate to the point of risking blandness at the highest sessionable level. Easy to become smug about a decent pils in the home territory of its abundance, but this is a solid, honest and moreish example - all "bio" at that. In this respect a bit of an epicurist Pilstrinker’s alternative to Lammsbräu conscientiousness.

Bügelverschlußflasche:Greenish-golden coloured, quickly collapsing small white fluffy head, clear, distinctive - but mild - herbal noble hops and pale malt in the nose; light to moderate bitter -sweet flavour, not extremely dry, light to medium bodied; drier lingering bitter-hoppy and pale-malty finish. Cheers to german noble hops…

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear pale golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Hoppy nose. Light and elegant malt base with slightly citrusy, resiny and slightly grassy hops. Lingering bitter hoppiness in the finish.

bierkoning (11943) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - JUN 9, 2012
Swing top bottle. Blonde. Soft grassy aroma with bready notes. Grassy hops in the flavor, enough to create a moderate bitterness, that lasts for a while in the aftertaste. Solid.
