rds (224), USA May 31, 2008 A bit too mild in every way for a hefe weizen--too clear, a little light in spectrum of flavors, etc. phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA May 30, 2008 This beer indeed pours a beautiful cloudy golden colour that when the sun radiates through it, makes it look like a beautiful wheaty jewel of the earth. Incredibly large head, that slowly fades away but a little one sticks around to the end. The lacing leaves a beautiful labyrinth of a pattern down the glass. A little yeasty and the wheat taste is very light. a sweet aroma follows it in every sip. haf (333), Gijon, Spain May 26, 2008 botella 500 Ml. Cerveza que cuenta con distintivo biológico desde hace mas de 20 años. Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA May 20, 2008 Awfully clear for a hefe, minimal head. Aroma? no idea, it’s gone, gets a 5 because it doesn’t smell bad. Flavor has tiny hints of banana and not much else. If you’re expecting a real hefe forget it. KnN (712), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA May 17, 2008 Smells a bit like a pieces of wheat bread soaked in orange juice. Pours fairly clear for a hefe with almost no head. Flavor is ok, but a bit watery and underwhelming. There are better hefes out there. drewbeerme (2224), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 13, 2008 bottle. pours hazy light straw color with creamy white head. aroma is wheaty, lemony, and slightly sour. flavor is much of the same. not a lot of banana and cloves. watery. not a good example of the style. blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA May 3, 2008 bottle, cloudy orange yellow with rapidly receding head, small amount of hops and clove, very thin BMan1113VR (2755), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA Apr 30, 2008 No way is this a German Hefe, wheat beer, yes. Pours with a small, white head that goes very quickly. There is thickly hazy gold body underneath. No lacing. Wheat, honey, and dust aroma. Crappy wheat taste. Fizzy mouthfeel, Not appealing at all.
