onlyrocknroll (218), Cork, Ireland Jan 28, 2008 Hazy light yellow with a very small head for a hefe. Soft aroma of yeast and a gentle citric trace. Light flavoured, banana and yeast. Not great. tangentrider (144), USA Jan 26, 2008 cloudy straw-colored beer; no head; apple aroma; quite watery with a slight bit of banana and clove flavor and some yeast; finish is slightly sweet and yeasty; this one is rather like yeasty seltzer water. dyetube (397), Dallas, Texas, USA Dec 23, 2007 This beer pours a cloudy light yellow with a very small head for a hefe. O.k.. This is probably one of the worst hefe’s I’ve had. Litle to no aroma, no banana’s no cloves, it’s a little citrusy and watered down. Taste like a bad american hefe. Won’t ever get this one again! Pwn3d (1040), Manhattan, New York, USA Nov 28, 2007 500ml. Soft wheat aroma with a very faint amount of citrus. Nice hazy hefe color with pure white soap-sud head. Flavor is mild, perhaps watered down, and very basic. Smoooth palate, slight soapy aftertaste with slight pine and citrus flavors. I could see this being popular, but boring. Miksu (2194), Jyväskylä, Finland Nov 25, 2007 0.5 l bottle. Murky straw color. Bready, soapy, herbal and piney aroma. Malty, bready, herbal and lemony flavor. Fairly dry, soft and trinkable. junon (210), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Nov 23, 2007 Noticeable lack of banana in both aroma and taste. Cloudy yet bright yellow rather than a deep gold I attribute to a beautiful Hefeweizen. There is a citrus tang to the taste though. This one is a little more expensive than alternatives available to me and is not as strong. Dunno what the appeal of this is. jetzler (622), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA Oct 31, 2007 Bottle, some what citrus aroma, a touch of wheat in the nose a decent head that lasts somewhat. Palate is rather light, with a bit of spice and some vanilla. Palate is much to light. Rastacouere (5551), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 25, 2007 Yeasty, apple-like aroma with soft clove and banana yeast derivatives. Rather sour, even for a weizen the wheatiness comes across as tart. Dry finish with a considerable feel of floral hops. Juicy, simple and straightforward flavoured hefe weizen that does its job and nothing more.
