It has a light citrus and yeast aroma. The flavor is similar. Light bodied and easy drinking, this is a refreshing and fairly enjoyable hefeweizen. nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 24, 2007 500 mL. Cloudy, dirty-golden yeast slurry with a large head that lasts. Aroma is rye, corn and some slight tire rubber. Flavor is of a lager: corn malt, grainy, honey notes. Has some of the sourish yeasty notes of a hefe, but only very faint esters in the aftertaste. Palate is light-medium, with some slight tingle and dryness on the finish. The yeast seems all wrong for the style; too clean. This is a poor German hefe, and tastes more like the American wheats that I hate. Jukkabro (3007), Tampere, Finland
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 24, 2007 Light yellow colored, strongly cloudy appearance. Thin lemony aroma with only mild spices and some yeast, reminds me more of some Belgian Wits. Highly carbonated palate. Flavor is also lemony with no banana, again some wit-spiciness comes up. Some fruits in aftertaste. Boring beer. burpfrank (292), carpinteria, California, USA

Flowery and yeasty on the nose. Has a malty/ figgy /raisiny quality which i find a little surprising for the style. Overall an interesting beer, glad I tried it but probably wont consider again yomintyfresh (53), USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 13, 2007 This is actually one of my favorite Hefeweizen beers. Sweet but not too sweet, tart but not too tart, more banana-y than citrus-y (what I prefer in a Hefeweizen), very filling. Not so bad in a bottle but preferable on tap. kimcgolf (828), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 10, 2007 I’m swimming against the tide, but I really enjoyed this beer. Poured to a hazy whitish yellow, with bright white head that lasted well and left okay lacing. Aroma was a pleasant mix of cookie dough, wheat and fruits...mostly bananas, with hints of apples. Mouthfeel was a little tingly, a little chewy. What I enjoyed most about this beer was the taste, which was a little bubblegum, mixed with sugar cookies ( a veryy odd combination, but darned tasty). As the beer warmed, the sugar cookie taste became more prominent, all leading to a very pleasant finish that was just sweet enough and long lasting. cking (1019), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 3, 2007 Rated 2/17/07: I just couldn’t get into this one, rather bland German Hefe. Aroma is of dry and slightly sour wheat. Cloudy yellow pour with a decent white head, little to no lacing. Mouthfeel was shallow yet crisp, too light for my liking. Bland taste, mostly light wheat malt. Very little if any fruit flavors, weak yeast. This is more comparable to an American Wheat, a style that has yet to impress me. Better off getting yourself a Franziskaner, Ayinger, or Weihenstaphener.
