Bottle: Pale, cloudy, mid-sized, quickly diminishing white head; mainly fruity nose (pears, peaches); sweetish fruity flavour; fizzy; shy sweetish-sourish finish with a tinge of citrus and an illusion of smoke(!?). Yawn: a quite bland, nearly watery, not very complex Weizen.............

That hazy yellow and white fluffy head you’ve come to expect from a Hefe. Smells of yeast and citrus confirm what you are about to drink. Rounded mouthfeel. I was expecting watery but this was less thin than expected. Served at home so there was no inappropriate orange wedge. Refreshing, like a Hefe should be.

500 ml bottle, purchased from Whole Foods. Pours hazy, light golden with lots of little floaties and a large white head that leave some lace as it diminishes. Aroma is wheaty, with a distinct white bread character, along with lemon, pear and light spicy notes. Flavor is light and refreshing, bread and citrus fruits dominate, also noticble are hints of spice and floral hops. Light body and tingly carbonation. This would be a great summer cooler.

Bottle from Flying Saucer-Houston. Pours a bleached, cloudy yellow. Aroma is stale lemon and weak clove. Flavor is weak lemonade, crisp hops, and light floral tones. Palate is average. Crisp, light, refreshing; good beer to drink before a Porcupine Tree concert.

Very light and hazy pour with an acceptable white head. CO2 aroma with some soap and toasted bread crust. Thin and watery with some serious smoke flavor. Strange for the style. Rather lacking in over all flavor but clean.

Smells of bread. Watery bread. Pale yellow, and finishes short and bland. Its just too watery and needs some girth. That is all.

Hazy gold with a white head that lasts reasonably well. Faint yeast and citrus aromas. Flavor is not as intense as some German hefeweizens, although the typical fruit esters are there. Clean slilghtly sour finish. Refreshing and drinkable, but not an outstaniding hefeweizen.
