Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Oct 3, 2005 This isn’t a bad drink, but I think it’s most characteristic hefeweizen trait is the glass that I poured it into. There it displayed a relatively clear golden body with a modest head that quickly vanishes. The aroma is a mild toffee malt with a touch of wheat and a squirt of orange juice. The flavor was mainly the barley and wheat malt tastes with a bit of citric tartness, and it finished on that light sour note. I never have much luck with organic beers.
