Bottle Cloudy yellow pour with white dying head. Sweet aroma of banana, yeast, wheat. Flavor a bit more light than the aroma. Smooth, refreshing. Not too much to it though.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a one finger white head that lasts leaving good lacing. Aroma of wheat, yeast, light banana, light clove, and a touch of lemon. Taste is the same as aroma with a light tart finish. A little thin on the mouthfeel but still a good beer for the Summer.

Schultsc (572) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 12, 2007
Pours hazy pale yellow gold with a chunky, pillowy head. Very light tat lemon and grain aromas. Very clean flavor with minimal esters--very little banana, clove, or other spices--and more light lemony tartness with a hint of honey flavor in the finish. Very thin body that doesn’t hold up too well, but is ultimately in balance with the light flavor profile. Refreshing, bland.

bottle. pours hazey orange yellow with white head that thins quickly. nice fruity aroma (lemon? banana?). nice mild fine bubble carbonation as well. the flavor (slight wheat with a tart element), however, fades as soon as it hits the tongue. would be a good introduction for macro drinkers because it goes down easy and is not at all offensive. on the other hand, as seen below, hefe fans will find this one boring.

bottle - Pours hazy yellow with a medium sized head that quickly fades to thin and hangs around awhile. It has a light citrus and yeast aroma. The flavor is similar. Light bodied and easy drinking, this is a refreshing and fairly enjoyable hefeweizen.

500 mL. Cloudy, dirty-golden yeast slurry with a large head that lasts. Aroma is rye, corn and some slight tire rubber. Flavor is of a lager: corn malt, grainy, honey notes. Has some of the sourish yeasty notes of a hefe, but only very faint esters in the aftertaste. Palate is light-medium, with some slight tingle and dryness on the finish. The yeast seems all wrong for the style; too clean. This is a poor German hefe, and tastes more like the American wheats that I hate.

Jukkabro (3457) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 24, 2007
Light yellow colored, strongly cloudy appearance. Thin lemony aroma with only mild spices and some yeast, reminds me more of some Belgian Wits. Highly carbonated palate. Flavor is also lemony with no banana, again some wit-spiciness comes up. Some fruits in aftertaste. Boring beer.

This had a weak arpma of grass.average head.Cloudy dark gold beer.looked like a good wheat beer. The taste was of sour wheat.sticky palate. It’s certified organic,so I guess it’s good for you.For this to be a great wheat beer it shouldn’t be so sour.I would call this an average wheat beer.I taste the leon and maybe a tad of honey, but guys!,I think you are reaching if you taste bananas.Well,maybe.If I get more buzed I’m sure I’ll taste bananas!!
