Good wheat beer. Nice that it is organic and they dont jack up the price. Cloudy orange/yellow appearance. Somewhat citrus flavor and crisp and clean on the palate. Good refreshing beer for the summer.

Butter’s 4th cellar reduction. Hazy yellow with a foamy white head. Sweet citrus wheat aroma. Overall pretty weak, could use more wheat.

Bottle at the Fourth Butters’ Cellar Clearance Event. Pours a milky pale yellow straw with true white fading head. Grassy and light lemon. Slightly bitter lemon pith flavor with some wheat. Moderately slick and low carbonation. Not the best I’ve had.

500ml bottle at Butters’ 4th Cellar Reduction. Pours a white head that leaves a few bubble clusters and a cloudy, banana yellow body. Smells little wet dogback along with some yeast, banana, and spice. Tastes earthy with citrus notes that liven the palate.

Bottle. Poured a hazy golden with a fluffy white head that settles to a ring and had light lacing. The aroma has banana, clove, wheat, and some yeast. The flavor found banana, wheat, and citrus. Light body, tingly carbonation with a light tart and wheat aftertaste.

My waiter recommended this as one of his favorite hefe weizens, but I am hard pressed to imagine how it would be anyone’s favorite anything. Cloudy almost dirty-looking orange with a thick white head. Nose and flavor are sharp and citric but missing the banana and clove I expect from a German hefe. Just citrus and something kind of funky and nasty underneath, like dirty dishwater. Everyone at my table tried it and agreed. Gross. Nasty. Hated it. Sent it back.
