Presentation: 500mL brown bottle, served in a weizen glass.
Appearance: Develops a two finger head that goes down a bit and then stays there. It has a cloudy, pale yellow color.
Smell: The aroma has a refreshing fruit zest character to it, of lemon mainly. There’s also faint malt, hop and yeast scents in the background.
Taste: Zesty citrus flavor mixed with some hop bitterness and a hint of malt sweetness. All of this followed up by a bit of yeast chalkiness in the background.
Mouthfeel: Dry, light, and refreshing, with little carbonation.
Overall: Just because it has a refreshing character, doesn’t mean it’s still not a flavorful beer. On the contrary, tt’s great because it’s versatile. You can just enjoy it on it’s own, and really get into it, or just sip on it to cool down without giving it much though. You can also have it with food and it won’t be a distraction, but it’ll be more interesting than your average ale or lager. Just a good all around beer.

Lemony aroma; a little dusty. Lemon/apple and clove yeast flavors. Lingering malt sweetness; on the cloying side toward the end of the glass (maybe a freshness issue?). Not much else malt-wise.

Bottle from wegmans. Pours hazy yellow with minimal head. The aroma is uninviting with some tart lemon and funk. The taste is almost funky Lager with a really hard water flavor. No thanks.

przecietna to przenica. zupelnie inna niz z bawarii. Jasno zolta z niewielka piana, smak malo kwaskowy za to bardziej bananowo ananasowy. W zapachu dominuje cytryna i limonka. Ozezwiajace i zdrowe bo ekologiczne. Ale jednak zdecydowanie bardziej wole bawarkie pszeniczniaki i nawet belgijskie.

Pours a very light, cloudy, golden-yellow. Generous head, with some lacing. Aromas of wheat, banana, some hops. Flavors of banana, caramel, nuts, & bread.

Bottle shared with McTapps. After a long time it is still possible to find a new, a delicious weizen which is a bit unusual. This one is. A bit sour with a decent Hogaarden-like touch which is very uncommon in Germany. Interesting. Really.

Milky and light yellow-orange in colour with low head. Taste of light yeast, sweet dough, low malt and green hops. Reminds a bit of Belgian witbier. Slight thin texture, but surprisingly delicious and very easy to drink.
