3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 squarta (17) - - FEB 7, 2012
Leggera e dissetante. Aroma poco intenso ma sapore decisamente più netto, poco luppolato e dai marcati aromi di frutta rossa che lascia una bocca persistente ed equilibrata.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Grima (1240) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - FEB 7, 2012
Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 EithCubes (3054) - GERMANY - JAN 18, 2012
Bottle. Nose is sweet and richly malty, toffee and caramel, light nuts. Body a brilliant ruby with a soapy, rockifying tan head. Taste is actually sour, not really sweet, creamy mocha and hot chocolate dust with lots of caramel and hidden fruits. Spice melding with medium-strong carbonation, very crisp, really, with a light-medium body and some mild wheat slime. Sourness plus yeast reminds me of Heavyweight. I have absolutely no idea what’s going on here.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Aurelius (3077) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 13, 2012
Pours a foggy wood brown, with a light tan frogs’ eggs bubbly head. OK label. Sweetish cereal aroma. A little tinny, tangy, sweet.. Flavor is dominated by the malting. Tannic, woody, sweet aftertaste. Medium beer. Decent, perhaps a little plain. New Leaf Market.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 gramity (520) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 10, 2012
Dark brown, slight but long lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, bready, a faint sourish twang, perhaps from roasted malts. Flavor is bready with a bittering dryness on a slightly roasty finish. Not bad, had more in common with a schwarzbier in some ways.

Bottle:   Amber with a copper hue, large frothy off-white head, fairly nice lacing.   Malty nose,
biscuit, very slight smokiness.   Not very heavy, or as much as I thought it would be.   Mealy, certainly has
a pale smoked malt presense.   Body and mouthfeel are a little thin.   Becomes a bit bigger as it warms.
For some reason it sorta reminds me of either another JW Dundee or Spoetzl beer.   Seems an okay beer.
Wished it were a bit heavier tho.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 drowland (3570) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 25, 2011
11/25/11. 500mL bottle. Clearish amber pour, mainly dark red, under a small khaki head that fades fast but laces significantly in sheets. Nice malty aroma of caramel, roasted bread, and a bit of grassiness. Sweet caramel and bread flavor as well with a touch of tart lemon peel and lingering grassy, haystack hops. There’s a hint of metal in there as well, but not bad!
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ibrew2or3 (4699) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - NOV 1, 2011
50cl swing top pours clear reddish amber with one minute tan head. The aroma is kind of dusty , yeasty, spicy, tart and fruity. Hmm. Seems a little jumbled. The taste is a mix of mineral notes, cherries, yeasty spicy notes, caramel and a touch of roasted malts. After a few ounces this one grows on me some and doesn’t taste as disjointed as I’ve described.
