COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pinkus Jubilate is a dark, bottom-fermented full beer. Pinkus Jubilate is brewed from barley and fine Weizenbraumalz from controlled organic cultivation. The hops come from organically farmed hop gardens in the Hallertau and Tettnang near Lake Constance. After a careful brewing process, using premium brewing water Pinkus Jubilate matured during a long and cold storage time in the cellars of the brewery up in peace and a mild spicy beer. Then the beer is gently filtered and bottled in returnable bottles and kegs.

500 ml bottle. Dark copper color topped by a big bubbly tan head. Sweet caramel malt nose with hints of milk chocolate and floral hops. Tart bready malt flavor. Flavor of condensed milk and rye bread. Some hops appear in finish. Creamy mouthfeel and medium bodied. Brief light hop finish.

16.9oz bottle 9/11/12 (Binny’s Downers Grove) 42° in Mug-Pours a darker brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, toffee, spicesm and bloody mary mix. Taste of the same with a bit of the flavors falling off making it a light bodied brew. This beer is not too shabby and is easy to drink.

Tart aroma--underripe cranberries. It has virtually no head, no lacing, and looks like muddy water. Has a sour, malty flavor with weak carbonation. Leaves the tongue rough. There are far better dunkels out there, and this one has little going for it.

500ml brown bottle. Pours out amber, clear, large thick and creamy cap. Nose has milk chocolate and caramel, like a Milk Dud. Taste has mild caramel, chocolate and raisins with some tangy, lemony hops. Mild dryish finish, grains, diluted dark malts and some subtle metallic notes breifly appear. Medium body, light carbonation. Not bad, but not really what I want out of a dunkel.

It smells like barley, darkmalty-sour. The taste is darkmalty, a bit sour. Overall sour, ok. 10/10/9/9/10/10

500 ml bottle. Pours a nice deep red copper with a twin inch tan head that lasts. Taste is of roasted malt, caramel, tea, some citrus and some hops. Similar aroma. The body is decent, slightly watery and a bit sticky sweet. The finish is slightly sweet, but mostly clean. Easy to drink and rather enjoyable, but slightly disappointing.

0,5l bottle (5,3%). Dark copper color. Medium beige head, stays. Creamy fruity aroma. Watery, very mildly roasted. Quite unique resemblance to lambic, but all the sourness is filtered off.

Pint bottle poured into a dimpled mug. Semi transparent and mid brown. The bottle gushed when opened but the beige head soon settled into little more than a ring. The nose is rich sweet malts and equally sweet dark fruit. The flavor is more gentle and subtle than the aroma. It is a nutty, malty, and there are some soft noble hops underneath. This is thin and watery both in the feel and flavor. Still, it is pleasant and sessionable.

500ml bottle pours a dark amber color with a finger of white head that leaves a trace of lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasted grains with hints of dark fruit and a notable hop presence. Taste is quite malty sweet with some roasted malt bitterness and a mild hop bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with some nice carbonation. A pretty decent dunkel beer, but certainly not the best.
