Gyllengul öl med vitt skum. Lätt gräsighet i doften samt en aning deg. I smaken tillkommer en fräsch citruston. Ett trevligt sommaröl.

Mostly clear dull pale yellow, small foamy white head fades. Sweet malty floral aroma. Taste is tart fruity yeast , light floral hops and sweet caramel malt, soft and subdued. Softly carbed, light-medium bodied, lightly hopped. Easy dry finish. Very nice! LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

The aroma smells like sweet and sour dough yeast, and the appearance fuses a clear yellow color, bubbly character, and a large white head. The taste is very unimpressive but not unoffending with its slightly sour and slightly sweet combination, and the palate continues this trend with a medium body, thin and slick texture, soft carbonation, and an abrupt finish.

I have never had an alt ale before, so I was rather surprised at how lager-like it was compared to most ales. It almost tasted wine-like. At this point I am babbling so enough.

500ml bottle brought to our Summertime Beer Session 5.Jul.2011 by Rune. Light golden body, small soapy head that rapidly diminishes and leaves some spots on the surface. Aroma: caramel, toffee with hints of cereal and vanilla. The fruit, lemon and vinegar taste and flat carbonation reminds more of white wine than beer.

500 ml bottle from whole foods. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head that slowly fades to a film. The aroma is vague and indistinct, nothing objectionable with the aroma, but nothing to recommend it either. The taste is subtle with cereal grains, grass, light spices and some mild lemony citrus. The palate is full and satisfying with soft carbonation. Finishes short, dry and clean. Overall: meh

I was really surprised with this. It doesn’t look like a alt, it doesn’t smell like a alt and it doesn’t taste like a alt. It’s a clean golden liquid with a generous white head. Almost not retention. In nose you cand find some hops, lactic acid und champagne notes. In mouth is something between a kölchs and a Berilner weisse. Lactic and sour. Carbonation is high. Kinda enjoyable is you forget that is pretends to be a altbier.

Przecietniak i slabeusz. Zloty kolor czym bardziej przypomina kolscha niz alta. Piana spora, trwala i puszysta, sporo babelkow. Niewielki plusik za ekologiczne slody i chmiel. Ale to w niczym nie poprawia smaku. Jest jakby metaliczny, choc bylo w butelce, smak slodu kukurydzianego. Mialem wrazenie ze pije masowego euro-lagera lub lagera egzotycznego. Nie polecam bo sa lepsze alty niz ten.

Pours a golden colour with a large frothy white head. Aroma of grassy hops, wet earth and some grains. Flavour of grassy hops, tangy citrus, metals and bready malts. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and high carbonation. Metallic notes are rather disturbing here. Not good. A bit better when this warms up, as the metallic notes aren’t that strong anymore.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours light clear yellow kind of sparkly with little white head. Notes of caramel, citrus and honey. Kind of sweet. Abit plain like an lager. Refreshing but nothing too special, not really much of an altbier. Certainly not the real original Altbier. Still drinkable.
