On tap at Milltown, Carrboro. A perfect draft for a warm sunny afternoon, served in a nice tall glass so that one can appreciate the cloudy golden body and abundant head. Smells spicy like a wheat, but not especially yeasty. Crisp and clean with nice hopping and a bit of a peppery bite towards the finish. Good pils.

Much better than I expected and very good for a pilsner. Crisp grassy pilsner flavor with a little bit of hops. Light bodied and well carbonated. Smooth, refreshing taste.

A cloudy gold with a thick white head. Smells of lemon, malt, and hopps were sweet and strong.Taste is strong of hopps and sweet malt. Mouthfeel and drinkability were good overall but this beer kind of fell flat in the end.

(cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com) As I recall, this was a pretty good pilsener.

The pour was EXTREMELY carbonated. The head was creamy and off-white. The aroma was slightly sweet and some hops. The flavor was the same. The palate was not nearly as carbonated as the appearance led on. The finish was clean.

Pours a pale golden with a thick creamy white head. Has THE most intense carbonation I have ever witnessed. Good lord it looks like a tornado inside the glass. Served in a tall footed pilsener glass. The aroma is grassy, wet hay, a little bitter from noble hopping, sweet. Flavor is similar, grassy, hay, sweet. Nice carbonated mouthfeel.

A really earthy malt taste like some of the other German organic brews I’ve had, without the real bitter finish of a trus pilsner. I like this beer, but it’s not a fantastic example.
