Pours very hazy with a big lasting head. Aromas are of light malt. Flavor is very dry. Strong carbonation. Solid pils.

Pours a beautiful unfiltered straw yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma is toasty, biscuity, with a big floral grassy hop character. Body is med-lt. The flavors are grassy with sweet malts that leave the mouth as easily as they enter. It finishes quite dry. Entirely refreshing and delicious. Excellent Geman Pils.

Poured slightly hazey and straw in color. low head. Fruity taste and some bitterness on top my mouth. Comes across as summer beer thtat could stand some additional flavoring hops. Thanks Carsten for bringing it over!

Bottle. Poured out a yeast filled hazy orange hued gold. Frothy white head that laces minimally. A sweet barley and mild saaz hoppiness. Tastes a little of malt with a faint hop bitterness. Mild, but lacks that signature pilsner bite. (perhaps a bit old?) Smooth creamy body, medium bodied and refreshing.

Wow. What an interesting beer. I’ve never tasted one quite like it. It wasn’t what I was expecting. It was kind of sweet and buttery yet also crisp, however they manage that. I happened to be eating some Piave cheese with it and I’m telling you the two were made for each other. I’ve never been one to really think much about beer/food pairings other than in a general sense, but this was a dead-on lock. Try them together! Mmmm. I’m going to try the other Pinkus varieties now. I think Whole Foods had a couple others.

Bottle. Aroma is grassy hoppy. Clear, golden coloured with a medium, white head. Taste is sweet witrh a little dry finish. Some grassy hops in it. Boring.

500 ml Bottle. Great beer. Cloudy yellow. A bit too sweet. Sweet, unusual taste for a pilsner but ok.
