2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 CapFlu (3767) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 26, 2006
(Bottle) Purchased at the BC Liquor Store at Fairfield Plaza, Victoria. Pours a small white head with a cloudy straw body. Nose is doughy and mildly honey. The flavour is somewhat grainy with a crisp hoppiness. I did get a flavour of honey off this bottle but perhaps it was because I tried so hard to do so with my previous sampling of Fat Cat Honey Ale? Overall I found this beer somewhat plain and without character.
