4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 georgekessel (68) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 19, 2006
Quite pleased with this one. Golden color with small head. Smooth on the tongue - low acid and low hops flavor. Medium carbonation (just enough, not too much and not too little).
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 mds (2115) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 2, 2006
Bottle. Yellow-golden body with a small white head. The aroma is floral and perfumey with some light grass notes. Soft body though the flavour is a bit boring - there are some cookie and grass notes. An adequate quaff but not great by any means. Sampled at the Københavnske Øldage 2006 on May 20, 2006.

500 ml/17oz bottle-pours a big foamy/creamy white head that laces with cloudy yellow color and floating particles. Aroma is musty, sweet grain, caramel. Taste is medium caramel malt, some hops bite. Both are about evenly displayed but don’t seem quite balanced. Musty, lemon zest, medium, medium/light body. OK carbonation.

Gold with creamy yet smallish head. Fruity aroma, sweet malts, light grainy finish. Clean herbal hop front with good malt character. Good malty finish. Very drinkable, solid multi dimensional pils.

Bought as Pinkus Organic Ur Pils.
served from 500ml Euro style brown bottle.
Nice bright, yet somehow cloudy, yellow beer.Has a good sized bubbly pure white head.
Nice strong hoppy aroma, robust even, some honey tones in the background.
A very "brisk" hoppy, sharp flavour to this one, hops are all up front, malts are very subdued.
Quite a good thick mouthfeel compared to others of this style, semi-dry finish.
I found this a good drinkable Pils..then it was 90 degrees outside and this lasted under 10 minutes.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 nick76 (3461) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 20, 2006
If you like German style pilsners you will like this. The aroma is pure and simple malt and grassy hops. The appearance is hazy gold with a small head. The flavor is bitter with a lemon element followed by malt. The palate is what a pilsner should be. Overall this is a quality beer but is not really that great.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 entertheiceman (242) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 8, 2006
Meh, a beer that didn’t inspire me to write anything special about it but I drank it so I wanted to rate it. Average Pils style, grassy, yellow in color, more malt than normal. You know all this. Decent and conforming to style.

With the exception of the aroma, this is one pretty darn good pilsener. A great head, smooth, and not funky in taste. One to drink more than once.
