500ml bottle. Pours golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma consists of caramel, cereal, nuts, toast, and a little hoppy that is slightly floral. Tastes fairly sweet with little bitterness.

330ml bottle. Starts off light in colour but darkens to a hazy gold by the end of the pour. Thin lace of white foam and sweet fruity aroma, passionfruit maybe. Well balanced flavour with a slight dryness.

Bottle: Pours a clear light gold, with modest white head. Big carbonation on this brew, retention seems decent in the Pilsener glass. Aroma is of very light hops and malt, with a hint of hay. Flavors are of crisp lemon grass, light hop and malt, a touch of bitterness at the end, and dry as well. Nice

Bottle pours golden with slight haze small white head. Aroma is malty and pretty one dimensional, slight floral and hay. Taste has a some what yeasty funk but not overpowering, lemon zest, and moderate sweetness. Not bad.

Musty German funk aroma; a flowery Euro-hop. Very German lager-y. A buttery character too. Just a touch of orange peel. The appearance is clear, bright yellow. Very good lace. Head retention is not bad. The flavor is very bitterly European. That German bite, especially at the end. Some shortbread biscuit. Very musty, with a hint of perfume. Some spicy lemon. Feels thick, with a nice body. Very dry like white wine. It’s not a bad beer, it’s just a little too "German," if you will.

Bottle. A cloudy gold pour with a thin white head. Light sweet malt scent. Taste is sweet with a hint of a hop way in the back.

Refrigerated 16.9 oz. bottle poured into a glass. Pours a clear bright golden with big fluffy head that dissapates fairly quickly. Highly carbonated, little lacing, thin light body. Taste is slightly grainy malt with some biscuit and finishes with a slight hoppyness. Kind of boring, but that is my assessment of pilsners.

Enjoyed from a 16.9oz bottle in an English pint glass. The beer pours a medium yellow hue with a moderate white head. The nose carries a wonderful malty note. Perhaps a bit out of style for a pils, but also potentially the result of an extended stay on the store shelf. The palate is unabashedly malty; Munich comes through with an especially virulent character. Hop bitterness is almost entirely absent, giving the beer a flavor profile closer to that of Dusseldorf alt or traditional bock, rather than pilsner. Still, pleasing. Overall, it would be great to acquire a sample with a little less age, but an enjoyable drinking experience, all the same.
