A very inviting nose of honeyed grains and cereal. Spicy fruity aromas suggest banana bread. Pours pale straw. The tall frothy white head is mostly lasting with light lace. The brew is well balanced with moderate acidity. The finish is toasted and brief. The light creamy body is soft to lively, and feels clean at the finish. This is a very excellent beer. Would be my beer of choice no doubt in the summertime. I could kill six of these in no time flat.

Sep 4, 2008 Bottle from Sam’s. Finally getting around to trying this classic. Pours a somewhat cloudy golden yellow with a nice white head and great carbonation. Nose is biscuit malts with a very mild hop profile. Easy drinking with flavors of grassy hops, plain crackers, and a mild sweetness. A fine beer, and what I expected, if not too interesting.

Aug 26, 2008 Bottle: Poured a cloudy beige/yellow color pils with a good size foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of malt with a light floral profile and some crisp dry hops are also noticeable. Taste is a mix between some floral malt with some distinctive hops from Plzen. Full body with some great carbonation. I thought it may have been a bit too grainy but it was still very enjoyable.

Aug 22, 2008 Ummmm...okay. I know this is unfiltered, but if you put a glass of this side by side with a Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat (which I did), you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. No Fruity Pebble smell here, but this really came off more like a wheat beer than a pils. Cloudy. Almost a citrus aftertaste. I’m wondering if they didn’t put the wrong label on a bottle of wheat beer...

Aug 10, 2008 Pint bottle... Poured vibrant yellow with a thick, foamy, white head. Aroma is buttery with crackers, grains and some herbal hops. Smooth palate with flavors of grassy hops which lend toward more of a fruity sweetness. Pretty clean and refreshing.
