Glad to finally have stumbled on this at a local Bioladen, unusual to find a Münster beer here in the deepest SW, but must bet the uni&bio connection...fresh looking retro label which emphasises compliance with EU "Öko" norms, not always a good sign for a tasty beer. - Considering all this anticipation, it was a bit of a letdown: pours a grainy yellow with only a brief cameo of foam, the bio hops do make their mark on a fresh citrus aroma, but are immediately counterbalanced by sweet, ripe, lemonade malts, dry and light palate (although "naturtrüb und ungefiltert") and an odd slightly sulphuric, brackish note. Hence, not optimally balanced and far less "Special" than expected, but drinkable as Feierabendbier", be it in a Northern of far Southern academic provinciopolis.

Yellow hazy color, small white head. Light malty aroma with some hops. Taste is dry, malty, some notes of yeast, grass and citrus, with lightly bitter hoppy finish and aftertaste. Light body and soft carbonation.

Ljust gul öl med ett medelstort vitt skum. Dpft av malt, örter och lätta citrustoner. Detsamma återkommer i smaken. Bra smak men något tunn.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Very unusual Helles as it appears to be more of a sour belgian style wheat. Aroma is therefore a bit herbs with some yeast. Drinkable but kind of special beer someone who´s into Helles.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Milky and pale yellow-golden colour with steady head. Taste of light yeast, mild barley, low malt and some gentle dough. Very refreshing.

Sieht aus wie naturtrüber Apfelsaft und hat auch diese gewisse Säuerlichkeit. Der Hopfen ist mehr als verhalten; eher eine gewisse Würze nach Sauerteig. Kann man mal probieren, aber für mich nichts außergewöhnlich Gutes trotz Bio-Touch. Fazit: Enttäuschend, leider! Kleine Hausbrauereien sind mir eigentlich sehr sympathisch; hoffentlich haben die anderen Pinkus Biere mehr als den Bio-Flair zu bieten...
