(Pinkus Special) Bottle 500 ml from local Ekoplaza, served into a glass tankard, ABV 5.1% Golden yellow colour on the body, good sized and thick, white head, with good retention too, leaving light lacing behind. Aroma of grains, grass, earth, smells quite fresh. Tastes fresh too, with grains, light citrus touches, very refreshing. Medium thin body, carbonation towards the high side. QUite good, very drinkable and thirst-quenching.

"What are the best lagers or pilsners you have in", I said to the guy at the beer shop; "my girlfriend’s gone mad for lagers". He pointed to Pinkus Special, a row of wheat beers (not sure why), and two other lagers. My fall-back method of judging a beer by its label swung into action and I picked up a Pinkus. We shared it over the pear and goats’ cheese tart my girlfriend had made for dinner, before moving onto a Founders Dirty Bastard over dessert (rhubarb crumble). What a day.

Bottle. Hazy yellow, medium to small white head. Flowery, grass, slightly yeasty notes. Decent sweet taste, blanced bitter, light sour. Fresh carbonation, but with a texture a bit more than watery. Aftertaste leaves some nive malty notes, almost a honey like finish.

0,33l Flasche. Tiefgelbes Bier mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Riech grasig malzig; schmeckt auch so, dazu kommt noch ein dezentes Aroma nach Honig.

Unfiltered and unpasteurized organic lager with creamy, sticky, yellowish white head, sweet pale malts in the nose, chamomille, peat, honey, whisky. Fruity, light sweet malty taste, mild herbal hop bitterness in the finish, hint of caramel. Unusual lager, not unlike a Kellerbier to me.

0,5L bottle, BB 03.2015. Pours golden with off-white head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is macro lagerish, malt, grain, bread. Flavor is sweet, malt, some bitterness and grains. Overall: not good, but not horrible.

Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops, with subtle notes of malt and paper. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of yeast and malt. Lingering, bitter aftertaste with paperlike notes. An okay, standard Helles but nothing really special.

Shared by martjoobolut, thanks! Yellow, golden beer, white head with some decent retention. Sweet nose, with grains, honey, malts and dust. Flavor is bready malt, hops in the finish. OK mouthfeel. Nothing special, but at least it’s not offensive,
