Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy yellowish golden colour with small white head. Aroma is mildly fruity, quite bready malty as well as slightly saltwatery. Flavour is malts, some slight caramel as well as mild fruityness. A bit earthy notes as well once it warms up.

This unfiltered "ürbrau" (German for "Primal Brew") pours its ecological contents into my glass; it’s soap-foamy head raging above the misty orange body. I like the non-transparent look. Nose is pretty much like a common lager, and I am a bit disappointed to say that the taste follows the same track. While certain ürbraus have a citrus-like, fresh taste on top of its dortmunder lager base (similar to weissbier), this is not so much the case with Pinkus Special. Some yeast tones are evident, reminding me a bit of some kinda weak tripel. Refreshing and drinkable, but nothing very special in my book.

Bottle @ Flensburg. Pours hazy yellow with a small creamy lasting head and lacings. Wonderful grassy hop nose. Quite uncommon german hop profile. Crisp and dry. Medium bodied. It has a yeasty touch which is Belgium like. Very nice.
