COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
keg & bottled, special
Collaboration between Pinta and Carlow, brewed in Ireland. Robust oatmeal stout brewed with Polish Marynka and Lubelski hops from around Lublin.

‘Lublin to Dublin’ is opaque black in colour with a ruby tone and creamy tan head. Hints of floral and herbal aromas combine with chocolate and coffee malt notes on the nose. The speciality malts bring roasted coffee bean and chocolate flavours, balanced with the satisfying fullness of rolled oats. The finish is long lasting earthy and herbal bitterness from the smoothness of the rolled oats. Enjoy this beer paired with mature cheese and strong cured meats.

Pours dark brown with a creamy head. Aroma: dominating roasted malt, coffee, some hoppy aromas in the background. Taste: roasted malt with some hops in the finish, together with slight, pleasant bitterness which I associate with coffee. This beer is balanced and very drinkable. At the same time it has a clear roasted malt character, which everyone should expect from a typical Irish stout.

Lots of chocolate and coffee in nose, aroma is strong and pronounced. Floral, hoppy notes are hidden under strong, malty aroma.
Creamy, tan head with average lacing and great retention.
Really smooth on the palate, flavourful and tasty. Lingering, earthy aftertaste.

Holy goodnes, that’s a tasty stout.

Aroma od dark tanned malts with coffee and chocolate. It’s completely dark, non-transparent with small ruby reflections. The head is quite poor, but lacing is OK. In long and delicate taste there is a lot of coffee. It’s very smooth and feels great in the mouth.

A near black pour, topped by low creamy ashy-blond head. Nice rounded and subtle aroma of mild licorice, a gentle roastiness and tinned dark fruits. Supersmooth mouthfeel. Soft flavors, fully balanced. Licorice, mild roast, dark chokolade, tinned dark fruits. Delicious and elegant. [Draft at Taphouse, København]

Dark brown, frothy tan head, some lacing
Aroma of mellow roast, dark malts, bit spicy, soft chocolate then some more roast
Taste as aroma, nice mellow dark malts, soft spicy hops, dark chocolate
Palate - soft carb, smooth body, tad sweet. Finish is a bit dry, some bitter dark chocolate
Overall - One of the best beers O’Hara’s has produced...I prefer Leann Follain slightly better but have rated both 3.8
