One of the best or even the best beer that I’ve tried in my life. Unfortunately the only IPA in Poland. Aroma: hops, resin, citrus & herbs...and hops. Did I mention hops? Color: amber, red, quite clear Head: small frothy Taste: light sweetness, very bitter, lightly sour Palate: light body, slick feel, average carbonation, bitter, long finish

This is definitely the best Polish beer I’ve tasted so far, it’s a shame it’s the only AIPA brewed commercially in Poland at this moment. Brown color with a small yet very durable white head. Smell is pine, resin, citrus, light carmel, strawberries and a tropical mixture with maracuja, plus some creamy vanilla. Taste is expectedly very hopppy and fruity. Tropical fruits and strawberries upfront and piney-resin-citrusy bitterness in the back, quite intensive and long lasting. Some caramel, grain and herbs in the background. Low carbonation. Awesome.

Swaroga (789) - Brussels, BELGIUM - AUG 8, 2012
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2012 50cl bottle. Filtered, brown liquid with small to medium dirty head. Nose : tart with notes of alcohol, little coffee, strong pine and pomelo notes. Typical IPA for the moment. Nose : low to medium density with fluffy, creamy and a bit oily texture. The carbonation is fair but still carbonates in throat which is a downer. Sweet tart with pronounced pine, citrus zest, grapefruit juice aftertaste. It’s mild compared to some extreme IPA but is delicious and I understand why this is a flag polish modern brewing beer. Well done to my polish folks and extra points for that !

Red/amber in color. Citrus aromas (grapefruit, pineapple + resin). I think the color is one of the biggest advantages. It’s really intense red and looks great in a shaker glass. This is one of the best Polish AIPA’s I’ve tried. The flavor could be better, though. I guess it hass to much melanoidin malts and tastes a bit too bready/caramel. Overall it’s a very good beer and it looks awesome so if you have the chance - try it!

Aroma: citrus, a little floral, some caramel; Appearance: amberish gold, clear, big long-lasting off-white foam; Taste: bitter in enjoyable citrus way, faint light sweetness; Palate: medium body, a little creamy, soft carbonation, long bitter finish. Overall: Great IPA! Plain and simple.

bottle, many thanks to Schroppfy! Hazy pale golden yellow, large white head. Lovely hoppy aroma, citrusy and resiny. Full-bodied, solid malty base complements the intensive citrus hops flavours with hints of resine and grass. Very well balanced, well crafted, smooth and delicious IPA. Superb stuff.

Amber colour with a fine off white head. Rich grape nose With some fruity and caramel malt notes. Full body and a nice texture. Nice caramel malt background with a nice grape hoppy flavour in front. Light fruity. Solid polish handwork.

(cask) pours a clear deep amber colour with a creamy off-white head. aroma of caramel, strawberries, some very light butter, herbal hops and a hint of physalis and kiwi. flavour is mostly the same, with notes of caramel, banana, toffee and a herbal-hoppy light-bitter finish medium-bodied with soft carbonation.
