bottled. somewhere between amber and goolden with a thin head; plenty of pumpkin in the aroma with nutmeg being the dominant spice; pleasant pumpkin sweetness with more nutmeg and suggestions of clcove and ginger in the finish

Aroma is rather spicy with herbs and some sweet caramel. Flavour is sweet with pumpkin, spices, herbs and cinnamon. A feeling of christmas porridge. Good!

Draught @ Ministerstwo Browaru Pub in Poznań. Pours murky orange amber with small white head. Clear, vinous aroma with notes of veggies and malt. Sour and bitter flavour of a good pumpkin ale: both pumpkin AND hops. Malty notes, rather unobtrusive. Rough aftertaste. A very nice pumpkin ale.

Dobre piwo z niewielka piana i z mnostwem aromatu i zarowno smaku pieczonej dyni, musu jablkowego, brzoskwiniowego przecieru. Troche gozdzikow dalo sie wyczuc. Pod koniec wytrawny i goryczkowy finisz. A po kilkunastu minutach daje swoja ognistosc imbir. Kolor jakby amber ale ale to wkoncu Pumpkin Ale. Wiec tu dynia dominuje i dobrze bo to takie piwo wlasnie powinno byc. Szkoda ze piana byla niewielka.

Bottle. There is some pumpkin in the aroma but it is covered in layers of spices. Lots of clove, some less cinnamon and ginger. The clove is reinforced by phenols. Very spicy taste as expected, it even results in a subtle burning sensation on the sides of the tongue. Full body, slightly sweet, some diacetyl retronasal. Flavour decidedly spicy, with pumpkin and fruity notes. Itchy, coarse bitterness that is rather unpleasant in the throat. Well, it´s an interesting beer. Really spicy, somewhat rough and crude but distinct for sure.

Bottle, 50cl. Gift from my brother Tijs. Many thanks! Orange colour, white foam. Fruity nose with notes of caramel, spices and some pumpkin. Medium body. Easy drinkable. Light sweet, light bitter finish. Good!

Swaroga (1445) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 21, 2013
50cl bottle. Hazy orange color with small layer of head. NOSE : cooked vegetables, orange, cottage cheese. Strong aromas of spices dominated by clove and pepper. Pumpkin tart. SIP : thick and oily with delicate carbonation. The beer is like a sweet pumpkin soup. Start is sweet and it continues to be sweet till the end. Meanwhile spices reveal some earthy notes. Bitterness comes right after and it’s moderate. Aftertaste has a delicate lactic acidity, earth and delicate bitter notes. Flavor wise the beer is has a strong roasted pumpkin taste. It is well spiced. The bitterness is a bit too short though. OVERALL : The beer is straight forward and not that complex. Not that easy to drink but once chilled it can satisfy your pumpkin needs.
