Very hoppy, but even Kormoran AIPA is more in aroma and taste. Good, although I expected more.

Pours clear, amber color, nice big head. In aroma is mostly hops - citrus, mango and pines. In taste, nice body, not to sweet with heavy bitter finish. Some caramel is noticeable. Carbonation average to soft. Worth a try.

My favourite Pinta beer. Very rich aroma - malty, sweet, hoppy. Full body, thick. Sweetness versus bitterness in taste. Bitterness stays long on the tongue.

Really nice DIPA, almost bookish example of the style. Aroma typical for american hops, citrus, pine, mango. Taste is well balanced between big bitterness and sweet backbone. Low carbonation, really nice to drink. I enjoyed it very much

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2014 500ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn) (6:4:6:4:13=3.3)
Initially a hugely fruity aroma. Later I get the stickier melanoid/crystal mashy malts. Smooth palate, carbonation gentle, maybe a touch oily. Alcohol restrained, Anna thinks it’s stronger. Caramelly, a little sticky, mashy. Bitterness is nice, earthy, undergrowthy, and a bit herbal. Finish carries that forward and has an almost peppery bite. Very good mimic of the American style, but alas, it’s not a style I particularly like. Lacking the drinkability of the best strong hoppy beers, but still pretty decent.

Gentle fruity hop aroma, nice and iinviting. Sweet fruity body too. Covers 7.8% well, drinkability high, good balance for a sweet beer. Nice bitterresings in the finish too. A good reference point for evaluating IIPA’s. If it doesn’t compare well to this, then don’t bother brewing it.
