Draught @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere. Pours a hazy golden colour with a chunky lacy head. Aroma of grains, some caramel and floral notes. Flavour of grains, floral hops, grass, some earth. Rice porridge. Medium bodied and a bit harsh mouthfeel. Drinkability is good.

Bardzo przejrzyste. W kolorze złota. Piana raczej wymuszona, dość szybko opada. W aromacie dużo chmielu i cytrusów typowych dla IPA. W smaku dużo zalegającej goryczki, szczególnie na finishu. Orzeźwiające o małym wysyceniu.

Pours golden, bit hazy with medium white head. Aroma of hops, delicate yeast, some malty sweetness. Taste is bitter, refreshing, but could be a bit more dry for me, so it would be really really refreshing.

Bottled@Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere. Pale yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, hops, fruits and quite sweet floral notes. Flavour is fruits, some floral notes, a bit yeast and some strange kind of sweetness. Balanced, and refreshing "rice ipa".

500 ml bottke from Őllepood Nr. 1 in Tartu. Pours pale and clear with a small white and foamy head. Aroma is note very IPA-like, rather feels like a lager. It is supposed to be a rice IPA and true - you can feel some "koshihikari" rice aromas flying around, creating a somewhat thick blanket of malt/rice bread aromas. From underneath that blanket, you can feel some hop aromas coming as well. Taste feels already more like an IPA, there is plenty of bitterness. Some barnyard and herbal hop flavours also there. Additionally a bit of fruitiness shining through the bitter base and aftertaste is long and full of grapefruit seed bitterness. I’d love to experience hop characters more but this time it is quite unbalanced - the beer is quite bitter but there is no malt base to balance it, also aromas are overwhelmed with that rice blanket. Bitterness is honest but comes out a bit numb. Overall, this one still feels like a hopped up rice lager rather than an IPA.

Bottle @Gastropub Tuulensuu. Clear golden color, good white head. Grassy, gooseberry aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Flavor has citrus, gooseberry hoppyness. Rice softens the palate. Quite nice for being a Polish rice ipa.

Newest batch (BB: 7.06.2014). Clear golden beer with a medium sized white head that drops rather fast but doesn’t disappear completly, nice lacing. Fresh hoppy aroma with a lot o malty notes. Bitter in taste, again lots of hops and malts. Has some rice-like flavour as well. Medium bodied, rather high carbonation. Goes very good with sushi, curry and every meal based on rice. Very nice, everyday beer. I’ve tried every batch of this beer and this one is by far the best one.
