BBE 20-06-2015. Musta, pieni stouttimainen vaahto. Kevyttä schwarzbieriä tuoksussa. Liukas, makea, väljähtänyt, lievää savuisuutta, kohtalainen runko. Tässä kunnossa juotava perushyvä bisse.

Bottle share at the 42nd floor tasting. Thanks to Kenny. Very dark brown, small foamy tan head. Aroma is softly minty, roast malts, pine and maybe some pea. Body is medium to light, smooth, light carbonation. Taste is dry roast malts, metallics, earthy hops and a soft finish. Decent restrained BIPA.

Bottled 25cl sample @ Drie Dorstige Herten. The aroma has rye, pine, toffee, some ash/roast tones. Very hazy, brown coloured beer with a thin, off-white head. The taste is light-moderate bitter, has roast, pine, toffee. Medium bodied. Okayish don’t think the rye, darker malts combined with the IPA is a really good combination.

42nd Floor Tasting. Thanks to the handsome charismatic Hawaiian pizza lover. Hazy deep amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, decent fine carbonation. The thin dark malts bring a touch of bitterness. Mild piney hops, little spice. Light finish. Moderate bitter linger. A light CDA and a good foundation for a better one.

Bottle thanks to Mr Kenny. Consumed at the 42nd floor tasting. It pours murky dark brown with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, earthy, fruit cake, sour cherry, citrus peel and sherbet. The taste is smooth, bitter, toasty, light spice, fruit cake, charred wood, toffee, earth and dark bread with a charred finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. A bit charred perhaps, but overall rather enjoyable.
