Nitro at the pub - served way too effing cold - a decent, sessionable esb - clean and light-bodied, with some bready maltiness through the middle - malts become drier and more crackery as the earthy bitterness sets in for the finish - finish is lingering toasted bread and bitterness - decent.

Very creamy with a nice full body, nice thick malt flavor with the beloved hefe flavor just lurking around the after taste. I wasn’t sure where the Extra Bitter comes into play but this beer is so freaking wonderful I don’t give a shit if it’s not per the nomenclature. Great frigen beer!

Pint, on nitro. Great carbonation display that settles in a cream colored head. Good consistency, some malts and caramel present. A pretty good beer.

Nitro pint at the brewpub. Beautiful cascade of foam, culminating in a firm pillow-top head of creamy foam. The beer emerged dark red and still as night. The beer has a pleasant tangy bite with some mellow malt and a creamy consistency. Good. (#3130, 10/10/2007)
