Dudddde.... we put in like what was it... honey. No, like insane amounts of honey. Annnd... pssshh... seriously dank hops I got from this on guy I know. I think it was like... dude.... I am so gone. Simcoe and some Citra and some Mosiac and what if the colors I see are like not the colors you see... what was I saying? Right, right, 4 Hands. They brew the stickiest of the ickiest.

One of the better iPas I have had. Super citruscy and bitter. Pours a cloudy orange on color. Easy to drink and smells like grapefruit. Had at bad apple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pour from a 22oz. Very good hop aroma with just a bit of sweetness on the nose. Thin white head with a clear golden color. Went in with high expectations from buddies that have had this before. It didnít disappoint. You can pick up on the honey, but the star is still the hops. Dank hops with big grapefruit. A great collaboration with 4 Hands. Will seek this out again.

Bomber shared by Bill at guidos ulgy sweater party. Huge citrius aroma, pineapple and grapefruit. Taste is a citrius explosion, no real bittterness, smooth finish. Unlike most other pw dipas this one lacks the overly sweet malty back end which is usually my one complaint. This is very good, 2nd only to their original NvU.

22 oz bottle from Malloyís (Lisle, IL). As I say more often now, I really canít go after all these anymore and I especially canít go after styles I donít care for. But the Pipeworks American DIPAs are the true exception there. Pours a darker hazed golden amber hue, the darker body and middle taper out to some orange golden hazy edges and bottom. A decent cakey offwhite head atop stays as a firmer layer, sticks around as a nice filmy top, laces well. That darker more hazy body is nice, albeit a bit of clarity could really show some of those colors better. Aromas show a melange of hop fruit presence, lemon and lime rind meet firm grapefruit juice, oils. Some melon, tropical fruit, gumball and mangos come into play. Bread, floral bitter hops and some grass, gentle pine. A richer melange of fruit is quite nice, gentle sweetness hides well behind a lusher fruity hop presence. Initial is medium bodied, showing some decent fruit and bready malt, a firm bitter hopping quickly hits the palate. Citrus juice and rind, focusing on grapefruit and lemon, touches of orange hit and dance on the palate. Floral bitterness, bready dry malts and straw. Middle actually lightens up the body a bit, and that progresses into the backend and finisher. Firmer dry bitter hops get a bit away from the richer fruit presence up front, focus on dry bitter florals, a bit of pine and astringency. That firmer mango fruit element dances in and out, back and forth. Nice bitter fresh hop feel stays firm and even grows into the back and finish, a bit soapy, subtle bready and grainy malts show just a mellow base beneath, the fermented honey lifts the boost level a bit, without adding body or sweetness. The ABV stays fairly hidden behind that richer hop presence. Lingering bitter citrus, pithy and grapefruit juice, touches of melon, gumball, and gentle tropical fruit dance in and out. Certainly not sweet, a fresh vibrant hop profile really does wonders here. And whereas some of these DIPAs can get a bit sweet, this one seems a bit more in their classic profile, dry and bitter, small body. Lovely and fresh stuff. Smell really grows on me and itís flow over the palate. Only complaint would be the clarity. A bit more "pretty" and this might be my favorite Pipeworks beer to date. As it stands, itís right near the top still and really is what always keeps me coming back, especially to the DIPAs.

Pours gold with a thin white head. Aroma of dank hops, malt, citrus and pine. Taste is bitter and malty, balanced yet citrusy. Really solid.

Bottle on T-Day, served in PW snifter: Pours a nice golden hue with a frothy head and very good lace. The aroma is initially pure dankness and cat piss with a major citrus component as well. Once past the initial hop attack you can find some biscuit and bready malts as well as even more hop esters with pepper and clove. The taste has a lots of grapefruit and tangerine with a spicy and rindy tone backed by a pale malt characteristic. The mouth feel is aggressive and biting tied to a moderately tea baggy astringent finish. If there is honey you would be hard pressed to find it with all those hops. This is what you expected, a big bitter and juicy DIPA but it is no NvsU.

Bomber. Pours a hazy, deep orange, medium white head that disappeared kinda quick, but left nice lacing. Smells like a basement full of incontinent felines( that just drank a swimming pool full of Kool Aid) and a big laundry pile full of fresh green hops. Lotsa resinous hoppiness, mango, guava, peach, passion fruit... yada, yada, yada... mouth is big and sticky (like my Graffix back in high school in the 80s), medium dry, more of that fruit found in the beak, a balanced bitterness and those esters commonly found in honeyed beers... P-Dubs may have outdone themselves this time! Fuck it... Iím three beers into Thanksgiving and itís not even midnight, When does the Macyís parade come on?

22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazed, glowing orange with a thin off white head. Aroma is unbelievable. Floral, citrus, resin, and pine notes. Dank, rich, heady. Well-present tropical fruits, mangos, peaches. A glorious, rich, hoppy aroma unlike any other beer Iíve ever had. Flavor is huge, bitter, tons of tropical fruits and resinous pines, gushing citrus and peach notes. Juicy, dry, delicious. Medium bodied, lively on the palate. Finishes dry and bitter. Fantastic.
