Collaboration with Tired Hands Brewing Company. This 8% imperial IPA was brewed with fresh lime zest and juice as well as Simcoe and Amarillo hops. A great beer for all things summer.

Adds up to less than the sum of its parts. Really vibrant aroma with depth, like a taste-tested candy. Big lime all over it. It really isnít a great DIPA, but if you take any average beer and throw in some lime juice...it tastes fruity and good. So, itís good, just not impressively so. Bottle.

Bottle in Chicago. A golden yellow color with a white head. Zesty lime cuts through the hops to add a nice compliment.

Pours light clearer golden yellow with a huge creamy nice light sandy white head. Aroma brings subtle but delicious citrus lime and lemon spritz. Flavors of the lime spritz are delicious with some light spicy rind and zest.

Bottle, shared with friends at game night. Very hazy deep gold, robust white head. Big aroma of lime peel and pungent green hops. Crackery pale malts take a backseat to pungent earthy hops and zesty lime. This is big and bold, but somehow very balanced. Compulsively drinkable.

Bottle; Pour is murky gold, with a one finger, fine bubbled white head into this glass - thereís sticky lacing presence and decent retention here. The flavor profile is heavy on the graham cracker, lime juice notes, moving to more of a typical citrus, grapefruit, caramel feel moving through the experience. The flavor profile is lime juice, more graham cracker - the lime notes are a bit over powering relative to the base beer - It also feels overly sweet, and a bit one dimensional as well. It was an interesting attempt, either way but....it wasnt the best from the variants iíve gone at thus far.

Enjoyed on tap at the Bad Apple in Chicago, IL. I had this on a warm night and forgot to review, but remember this being extremely good. When I ordered it I was a bit hesitant since the only beer Iíve had containing lime was a Bud Lite Lime, and obviously it wasnít going to be like that at all, but since itís a seldom used ingredient I was intrigued to see what Pipeworks would do with it. I throughly enjoyed it, itís a central component but not overpowering and mixed well with the hop profile. Very good stuff.

Bottle via Omar, thanks! My first actually fresh Pipeworks IPA! GLORY BE, THEY DO MAKE FRESH BOTTLES! Porus a hazy neon orange with a mild white head. Aroma is lime peel, floor cleaner and some booze. Taste is actually rather lime forward. Slight peach in the middle with a nice dank note as well with the lime juice then coming in to finish it off. Wow. Lime IPA for sure.

(old) Bottle... Cloudy deep-golden pour with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma offers spicy, resiny hops and tons of lime. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. The flavor is modestly bitter and, like the nose, boasts truckloads of lime. Low acidity. Mildly bitter finish. This may have been more enjoyable had I not cellared it for so long, but it also may not have been. There was still plenty of lime essence, but a fresher bottle would have been more bitter. I donít like "more bitter." F*ck IPAs. Yep... thatís how I roll. Bottle courtesy of BBB63!
