Bottle. The pour is very light with some haze. The aroma is an interesting mix of hops and lime, very light and fresh. The taste is refreshing. The lime comes throughout very well. A winner here.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Golden yellow, minimal head. Sharp lemon peel, soapy, lemon Pledge. Citrus and hops bite the palate, still soapy, Clorox. Sigh.
Oh, Pipeworks. Would be more disappointing if I didn't already expect it to be awful.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle - thanks Adam! Pours hazy butterscotch with a medium off white head that dissipates with decent lacing. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, passionfruit, cat piss. Flavor is about the same, minimal sweetness with a light bitterness initially that builds with drinking. Perhaps a zesty component to the bitterness due to the lime zest. Definitely more citrusy than typical for Simcoe. Medium body, somewhat oily and a bit hot. This is a beer that would wow a lot if brewed a year or two ago. Now, while very nice, it is just lost in the sea of first rate DIPAs on the market.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2013 Bottle. The lime is certainly noticeable in the aroma but thereís a hefty dose of tropical fruity hops as well, along with herbal undertones. Some light crackery malt in the scent too that will become much more apparent in the flavor department. The appearance is this murky gold color with a thin, but firm, off-white head. I was concerned, initially, that the lime would be overdone, but itís not. Thereís a lot of crackery malt flavor to this that seems to be the centerpiece of the flavors. Lime notes are here, along with citrus zest, and some tea leaves. Silky and soft in the body; more tangy than bitter. Pretty easy going down; my bottle didnít last as long as I thought it would. This is interesting and very solid stuff. Itís just odd enough to say, well, that itís a little odd. Perhaps different is a better word because I enjoyed this.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and resinous hops plus a good amount of lime, and some caramel malts. Flavor the same with a lot of citrusy hops and lime. Average texture. A good double IPA.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From bottle. This was recommended by my local beer/liquor store WLV. Looks like a standard heavy pale ale with slightly darker golden color with nice frothy white head. The smell is amazing with that Lime Zest and juice really amplifying the citrus notes from the hops. It's funny because I hate lagers with line but I occasionally put a lime in an IPA during the summer for this very reason. This goes perfect with Mexican, Thai, or any other spicy foods that use lime. Not a purists beer but a pure joy to drink.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz. bomber. It pours a nice golden orange color with a small white head. The aroma is strong with lime zest, tropical fruit juice and a stale crackery malt profile. The flavor has more lime juice, grass, stale crackers and a strong bitter finish. The mouthfeel is a bit soapy and acidic, but light and drinkable for the ABV. Interesting concept that works for the most part. It reminds me of a lot of the hoppy beers Iíve had from Tired Hands.

22oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark gold with minimal head. . Aroma of lime and other citrus with a little pine resin. Taste is medium bitter. Very citrusy with loads of lime and bitter pine resin in the background. A little bready also. Full bodied with a somewhat slick texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, this is awesome. Im pretty sure i could drink this everyday.

Bottle. Batch #155. Vinny provided this guy. Split with Vin and Janine. Pours light translucent orange with a very thin, sudsy white head. Aroma of butter, pears, lime, and some papaya and mango notes. Palate is clean with a touch of lime and booze on the finish. Tastes very much like limes and lime juice. The lime flavor certainly dominates on this one. Refreshing, but needs a touch of restraint.
