Collaboration with Tired Hands Brewing Company. This 8% imperial IPA was brewed with fresh lime zest and juice as well as Simcoe and Amarillo hops. A great beer for all things summer.

From bottle. This was recommended by my local beer/liquor store WLV. Looks like a standard heavy pale ale with slightly darker golden color with nice frothy white head. The smell is amazing with that Lime Zest and juice really amplifying the citrus notes from the hops. It's funny because I hate lagers with line but I occasionally put a lime in an IPA during the summer for this very reason. This goes perfect with Mexican, Thai, or any other spicy foods that use lime. Not a purists beer but a pure joy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber poured a hazy yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of bread, lime, grapefruit and light lemon zest. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of bread, lime, grapefruit zest and a hint of lemon zest with a smooth dry moderately bitter lingering lime finish.

Poured from the bomber, a bright yellow with a white cloudiness and champagne bubbles. Smells tropical, the taste is lime for sure, crisp, juicy, dry at the end. I know I say this a lot but hows about putting it in a four pack of cans at $12- so it can be enjoyed throughout the summer.

Fresh bottle. Pour is a hazy light yellow with an average white head and ok lacing. Aroma is loaded with citrus. Lemons, limes, grapefruit, and some tropical fruit as well. Flavor is more citrus. Lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, and some dank pine. Light malts and a touch of salt as well. Average mouthfeel and somewhat juicy.

650ml bottle from Binny’s in Chicago, Illinois. Golden-yellow in colour with a thin white head, light lacing. The aroma is floral, a fair amount of lime, oranges, herbal. The flavour is lightly bitter, lots of lime, quite juicy, orange and lemon citrus, some bready malts. Finishes long, sweet, lingering lime. This one is strange.

Adds up to less than the sum of its parts. Really vibrant aroma with depth, like a taste-tested candy. Big lime all over it. It really isn’t a great DIPA, but if you take any average beer and throw in some lime juice...it tastes fruity and good. So, it’s good, just not impressively so. Bottle.
